Aroace Connor headcanons!
Connor has no idea that he's "not normal." Because of all the abuse Amanda and CyberLife put him through, he thinks that androids simply can't feel romantic/sexual attraction. But then several months/a year or two into deviating he suddenly thinks about the Tracis, and Markus and North, and surely countless others and he's like, "Wait a minute...."
Hank notices VERY early on that Connor has no interest in such things. At first he thinks it might be another holdover of Connor thinking "Oh androids can't x" but after some gentle prompting, when Connor still has no understanding of what Hank is getting at and consistently shows no interest while improving in his autonomy and enjoyment in every other area of life, Hank realizes, "Oh, he's just like that, cool" and never mentions it to Connor because he doesn't see it as a big deal
When Connor finally brings it up to Hank after realizing that androids very much can feel attraction, and Hank is like "Oh yeah I've known that about you forever," he's a little upset that Hank didn't tell him, but Hank explains that he thought Connor already knew and it doesn't matter much to him who Connor loves or doesn't love, he's still Connor. And Connor is very touched by that
Connor's acceptance journey is a little strange, because he was totally fine thinking androids just COULDN'T feel attraction, it didn't bother him that he never would. But once he knows that that's yet another lie that he just believed implicitly, and for so long, despite seeing evidence to the contrary all the time, DOES bother him. So now he has to accept it as something just about himself and who he is as an individual, which is also mostly fine, except for the way Amanda's words still hold so much sway over him. It makes it difficult for him to process for a while, but I don't think he ever feels like he's "missing out" or that he "might be wrong" like a lot of aroace people do. He just has to make this major shift in his mindset that takes some time
As I've stated previously, I don't think Connor is romance/sex repulsed, he is completely unbothered by any of those things in either direction - it doesn't excite him or gross him out. He just doesn't care. But at the same time he would never want any of those things to be done to him
I don't know what else to say except that after getting over the Amanda mindfuck, Connor is just completely comfortable with never having a romantic/sexual relationship, his most important relationship is with Hank anyway, and he loves all of his friends so much! If I think of more things later I might add them like on the Connor's Firsts post
Oh and tagging @werkwerkelizaaa because they wanted to see this when it was finished :)
