# 1 Hyuk: ”Before my hair got shaved i thought my heart would explode.It is not that i am depressed or offended but it is just a feeling that my heartbeat keeps on increasing. In order to cut my hair i wore gown and that moment when the scissors touched my hair until it reached the rim of my ear, In that sound of palpitating, i thought my heart would have come out of my mouth. And the moment that my hair was cut, it became a moment with mixed emotions, when the wrap of ‘ Eunhyuk ‘ was removed and the real ‘ Lee Hyukjae ‘ inside it was exposed.The celebrity who is Eunhyuk,Goodbye!It is time i go back to my real self..”
# 2 Hyuk: “My life’s motto is basically “ The moment you worry too much,it becomes more difficult and tougher. You need to enjoy life to truly live a happy life” It is like making one bright,positive and energetic movie called ‘ 樂生樂史’ “
# 3 Hyuk: “Honestly, Eynhyuk’s life is not so different with other celebrities. Quite fancy and a position which gets the spotlight. Lee Hyukjae is like a friendly whisper, like a detailed chant of words, like a more quiet feeling. Before debut,those two forms are almost combined but after debut,i think the forms had been separated. I can see the reaction that this bright and witty image which you see in variety shows is unexpected from my usual quiet and calm self.”
# 4 Hyuk: “If i look back at my life as Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, I think it was perfectly pleasant.Suddenly,from our debut up to our recent 10 - year celebration fanmeeting ,everything stretched out in my head like a panorama. 10 years..there is a saying that “10 years is an epoch” but i am always thankful for our fans had not changed. After 10 years even mountains and rivers can change but to our fans who never change, i am always thankful. My faith towards our fans that are like family and friends is neatly piled up inside me in those 10 years.They are at an age where they feel a lot of jealousy and anxiety..but seeing now that those have disappeared…Ah,anyways,fans,please wear your rubber shoes upright!”
*Wearing rubber shoes upright means you will not cheat on your boyfriend while he is in the army.
# 5 Hyuk: “Living as Lee Hyukjae is something i am curious about too.How happy did he lived? I want to meet and go with friends and i want to try college life too.I have many regrets on what i was not able to do but as long as i do well as Eunhyuk,I think i have helped the life of Lee Hyukjae, It’s because of Eunhyuk,Lee Hyukjae have also received many benefits.For an example,in a restaurant they recognize you and give you more food,those kinds of things i feel so thankful ”
# 6 Hyuk: “I was not lonely because of the thought that Donghae and i have two-day difference in entering the military.Like what youngsters of the same age commonly talk about “Ya,what should we do for our military duty? Shall we enlist together?” These words became like seeds and we got enlisted on the similar period.That is why fortunately,without any factors Super Junior D&E activities would be possible after our discharge from the army.”
# 7 Hyuk: “In the talks of going to the army,Teukie hyung cared the most.Because he knows well that i like sports/exercise, he said that the most important thing in the army is to not get injured and he got worried. As a leader and as an eldest brother,he comforted me with a mother-like heart and i was deeply moved…”
# 8 Hyuk: “About the enlistment,rather than being scared, i think my sense of expectancy is bigger. It is more exciting to think that during 1 year and 9 months, i will take off,leave my clothes as Eunhyuk and have a change to get a perfect time with myself”
# 9 Hyuk: ”By enlisting in the army,you suddenly rest and semi -mandatorily arrange some things and you wil come to think of more thoughts and become more anxious. Since i am a little bit simple,in order to not fall into thinking distracting thoughts, i just did the usual of doing schedules and working and indifferently,doing the greeting of “ i will come back “ will become more natural”
# 10 Hyuk: ”My celebrity is Lee Sooman. Recently whenever i see teacher, he endlessly does new things and comes up with amazing ideas despite the age and i really got to respect him.To the point he could become the driving force of my activities “
# 11 Hyuk: “ Even though i got my hair shaved,i am still like living inside my dreams.Will i get this much attention if i am not part of Super Junior? If just someone else says he will go to the army and he will have his hair shaved,are they going to do him a photo book like this? All of these became possible because i am Super Junior’s Eunhyuk. Until debut my only dream was to become a celebrity but after debuting that dream vanished like a mirage. But as i look back once again,i am still the youngster living inside my dream,who still wants to be inside that dream,and who want to continuously dream of other dreams..”
