hardly spoke to him at first

answered yes or no to questions and kept her opinion to herself

didn't want to worry him or be a burden to the team

she knew how hard it was to be a leader, she didn't want to make his job harder 

and he always asked her what she thought, what she wanted and if she needed anything 

he felt he was doing something wrong and was a bad leader 

to this day asks if she's home, just in case 

(this has been going on since she lived with SNSD)

sometimes he just calls her randomly to see how things are

and he doesn't get angry that she doesn't answer him in the group because he knows that it’s not even possible to download the application on the phone she has

they got closer when Super Junior stopped being temporary

she started giving him headaches because she'd run away from the manager to go clubbing with him and Heechul

one day at JULIANA’s, she suggested to the three of them to have a triple kiss 

Heechul laughing like he never did before

Leeteuk almost had a heart attack

she had seen it in a western series and wanted to try it

she hated the triple kiss but they laugh about it to this day 

in fact, she was the first to know that Leeteuk was also attracted to men

HANGENG — 

became close friends after Kyu's accident

she was incorporated in HanChul friendship 

but she always joked that it wasn’t JUST a friendship

“i feel i'm third wheeling”

Heechul would yell “YA, PUNK” and Hangeng would laugh

one of the first people she called oppa

tried to help him cook when Heechul had his accident

she almost set fire to the kitchen 

so it was decided that her job would simply be to chat while he cooked

without touching anything

she would ask him to teach her swear words in chinese 

and sometimes they would communicate in chinese so others wouldn't understand what they were saying

(but then they learned it because of super junior-m and she had to stop)

liked to play wrestle with him because he knew martial arts 

she asked him to teach her 

“I have to learn to defend myself!”

and then picked on the other members

“you created a monster” they all say in unison to Hangeng

had a very fatherly attitude towards her

he was older and that meant he had to “take care of her”

Heechul was too, but we know Heechul 

Hangeng was the first to know she liked Kyuhyun 

“don't let Heechul discover this, he'll end my life”

one day, he asked her and Heechul if they would miss him

neither of them understood

but she does, a lot

misses his smile

the jokes

they are still friends today and she was present at his wedding

but the longing is something that won't go away

she knows how much he suffered and that it wasn't fair what they did to him

YESUNG — 

triggering them by putting them in friendships when they both wanted to be in the “relationships” topic

but we know it's complicated 

they started out super hostile (Yesung's fault)

Nara accidentally overheard his conversation with Leeteuk and discovered he might not be in Super Junior

after Leeteuk left, she said that he was very talented and she knew he'd be in the group with them

Yesung didn’t talk to her until they won the first place award with U

like straight up ignore her and turn away

they wouldn’t be alone in the same room

and didn't exchange sentences beyond “what time is practice?”

the group almost sent them both to Intimate Note

Sungmin x Kangin, Heechul x Eunhyuk, Yesung x Nara - who was the most awkward? 

they became friends in 2008 after he fell almost 2 meters from the platform at the KBS rehearsal and had to be hospitalized

she cried a lot, with flashbacks of what happened to Kyuhyun, but he was fine 

and they became “friends”

less than two months later she kissed him when she was very drunk and said she wanted to be with him... which he thought was one sided

but the she had a blackout and couldn't remember what happened the day before

he didn't have the courage to tell her

regrets it to this day

because she started going out with Kyuhyun at the end of 2009 and they started dating

and any display of anything other than friendship would have led to a huge fight in the group, which Yesung preferred to avoid 

Kibum and Hangeng left the group and Yesung didn’t want them to disband 

so they stayed friends

she went with him to get his tattoos 

and every time he got a tattoo, she got an ear piercing

the most stylish, they always share accessories 

and whenever he sees a piece of jewelry he thinks he'll like, he buys it for her.

THEY ALWAYS DROVE THE SHIPPERS CRAZY 

THE KANARA SHIPPERS ARE WELL FEED THANK YOU 

it was the first ship she had in the group

this man didn’t even try to hide his favoritism 

he loved it when she appeared on the variety shows he hosted

others MCs hated her because they would be crackheads together

he was one of the first to make her feel part of the group, since she and Kyuhyun were super outcasts 

made her feel free on TV and with the boys 

and the first ship was born 

edits with the MVs, performances and variety shows with romantic songs were being posted on Youtube and vimeo

when he flirted with the girls in Full House, memes of Nara’s face would go viral

they are the kings of memes, even before “meme” became something known

they practically started a prank vlog back when there was no vlog

it was an online segment where they pranked the other members 

a fan favorite was one of the final episodes where they pretended to be pranking Heechul, but they were actually pranking her

but only super junior can pick on her, otherwise he'll get mad

in fact, there's no need to pick on her at all, just any sign that she's uncomfortable

or when another group flirts with her

extremely protective 

calls her “gongjunim” (princess)

when he had his first DUI, she was very upset and had to distance herself from him - not because of the media, but because she was trying to digest what had happened

he went to the military

when he came back, they started the Super Junior-N&K unit

SHINDONG —

they’ve had their ups and downs 

and i say SUPER ups and SUPER downs

because they used to have a balanced relationship

he has said that even after 20 years he still gets a bit akward with some members 

and doesn't like to eat alone with some of them

so in the beginning they stayed in their own corner

and only interacted when accompanied by the other members

they made music together in super junior-happy and trot, but it was when she joined the dance line that they got closer

they started going out more to eat

and whenever they traveled, they wanted to go to different restaurants - even though he doesn't like food with a lot of flavor (he said this in Studio Hook)

and she's always been an advocate of him being beautiful

he asked her to stay at his house for a few days to develop the series further

those “days” turned into months

they wrote, composed, made story boards for all the songs, wrote the script, thought about costumes and there really isn't anything that didn't came from both of them 

now, he's sure she's the best of her generation 

whatever she says, he signs off on

SUNGMIN —

everyone thought they’d get along 

he’s more feminine, likes pink, is delicate

which would be ideal in befriending the only woman in the group, right? 

no

in fact, Nara has never had much interest in these “feminine” things

and being the only woman in a male group, she had to adapt herself to feel more included 

so they weren’t close 

but when she started dating Kyu

he had to keep it a secret that they were sleeping together

and they promised to not have sex or too much pda while he was in the room

and even after helping to keep it a secret

had to attend the sex education class

wanted to kill them both (everyone wanted)

“you’re buying me dinner afterwards”

and they did 

they became relationship-driven friends, so she was the one he would talk about girls

she listened to everything and tried to help him 

when he started to came up with so many serious questions in 2013/2014, she knew something was different

she understand the situation of Sungmin’s fans but thinks the members should have handled it differently

after all, they all understand what it’s like for idols to date and get married

and, because in 2014 she had already fought with Shindong and Siwon, Leeteuk was giving her a hard time and everything was shit, she sided with Sungmin 

went with him to buy Saeun’s wedding ring since his mother was busy and he wanted a female opinion

EUNHYUK — 

another very famous ship among fans 

and almost made Lee SooMan have a heart attack 

because ok, she has ships with everyone in the group (this inevitably happens being the only woman) 

but they kissed at the D&E concert in 2014

they decided to do it after rehearsing the duo routine 

and kept it a secret, so Donghae's expressions on stage became a meme 

it went viral on youtube in korea (and the tickets sold out)

that's probably the only reason they didn't get cursed at SM

and they're kings of dance

do you remember the dance from evanesce? sorry sorry answer? i think i? 

he loves doing couple dances with her

(and the fans love it too) 

but for those who know them, they're very far from being a couple

they seem much more like little brothers who get together to make fun of Yesung

fills her cell phone with messages asking her to record dance trends

she doesn’t have tiktok 

they recorded UP N DOWN for his profile 

supergirl and other group’s songs too

because he and Kyuhyun share a dorm for so long, whenever she needs to know something about Kyuhyun, she would ask Hyukjae

then she pretends to act clueless, as if she didn’t care

and maybe that's why he's one of the few people who knew that they had “gotten back together” in 2015

didn't tell either of them he knew

he respects her a lot and pretends he doesn't notice these things

and whenever the MCs did something that was uncomfortable for her, he would interrupt right away

like when they tried to arrange a date between Kyuhyun and a girl from Girl's Day in 2014

he knew she couldn’t say anything and took the role of flirt

because he didn’t care about being dumped and becoming the center of the joke

she put herself in the line of fire when there was the IU controversy in 2012

stood by him when shit went downhill

he wants to protect her

and she respects him a lot for everything he did while Leeteuk was away and his ability to produce huge shows

DONGHAE — 

he was very embarrassed that she was in the group 

because she was the only girl 

he didn't know how to talk to her 

didn't want to treat her like a brother

but he also didn't want to treat her the way he treated women, because it was too respectful for the group

so a secret third option

when he saw her and Heechul drunk kissing for the first time he almost had a seizure 

when she and Kangin played pranks on him, he didn't rest until he'd returned the prank

and we know that he only looks like a saint

every time he tried to return a prank, the butterfly effect made the group fight

and in the end he was the one who ended up crying 

which led to the famous phrase

“be careful, donghae is going to cry”

she doesn't know how many times she has said it

when the members said they were leaving, when the group threatened to break up or when everyone got into a fight

have you ever seen that boy? he really cried

for her, he's the maknae of the group 

and she'll fight to defend him 

... but can we talk about how much he's matured since the beginning of super junior? 

became a great man 

so much that she chose him as the member she would let her daughter date (after saying none because they were all too old)

so Nara always has to work out with him at the gym

if she goes with someone else, he gets upset

Ryeowook hates them

while she is ready to raise her hand or pat him as soon as the joke happens

there are tons of videos of them overreacting together, cuddling, him twirling her around during practice or just holding her for whatever reason 

and that’s what they let be recorded

sometimes he likes to be the little spoon :) 

calls him Wonnie Oppa 

and he's the only one who doesn't pick on her, he only gives positive comments 

treats her well and defends her, trying to maintain a pure vision of Nara - even after it had already been destroyed

in the beginning, he always covered her eyes when something suggestive happened

but after she “grew up”, he started covering his own eyes so he wouldn't see what she was doing

he really tried to force her to maintain her character of purity, but then he gave up

he's a man of god and, as much as she refuses to go to church with him, he has learned never to judge people

he knows her character, her inner self, and he knows she's a good person

and as much as they've fought a few times - an event they won't tell you about in any interview - because he's homophobic and she's extremely pro-lgbt 

especially after she found out about leeteuk

and him saying that he's like that because he has “values”, something different from what she knows

referring to her kisses on stage, dances and dating history

which caused them to fight for a while in 2014

and lead to shindong’s fight too

but after drinking a lot, he asked her to be his friend again, that he understood what she was going through

RYEOWOOK — 

every time she used to be in the dorm, would ask him to cook 

it was the best food she would have in days 

because no matter how much she asked other members to cook, his food was always the best

love it to this day

she almost asks to go to his and Ari’s house just to eat 

he says “you have your own house”

she makes a sad face and he lets her go

but only sometimes

a bit reserved 

he hates it when she touches him 

even before any of them had a relationship 

if he fought Siwon, why wouldn't he fight her? 

and he holds grudges

he'll openly tell some of her dirt on the shows

the two of them bickering all the time 

they roast each other 

because she NEEDS to make him mad

even now, more mature, it's almost a duty for her

mentions on every show that he showers naked

KIBUM — 

the maknae line actors

they made a drama together in 2008

they had one kiss 

(which was cut out to preserve her good girl image at the time, because she hosted a kid's show)

but the boys make fun of him to this day

he prays every night for them to leave him alone 

he almost got beaten up by Kyuhyun because of it 

and he didn't even do anything!

forget it! 

they can barely stand side by side 

and the worst part is that they're still friends

at the beginning of the group, he would ask her for help when he was talking to a girl 

because he’s handsome, one of the visuals, but is always sooooo awkward

they still meet up to talk sometimes

not to talk about women (which Nara has already tried to set him up on a few blind dates) but about life

...

don't let the super junior boys know about this 

or they'll talk about the kiss again 

poor thing 

he suffered so much at the hands of her and Kangin with the pranks

and then suffered at the hands of all the other members with the kiss 

the woman is almost married and they're still making fun of poor Kibum

KYUHYUN —
