Sleepy Damian standing stubbornly standing in the corner while Bruce explain their patrol report until Dick grab him and sit him on his lap until he falls asleep because it’s comfortable there.

Damian on patrol, who didn’t sleep for 3 days getting pull down onto Jason’s lap, complaining but slowly falling asleep.

Tim noticing Damian staring at him for 30 minutes now. He is confuse at first but quickly understand that his brother is probably too shy to ask. So he just pick him up and put him to sleep.

Bruce sees all that happening and decide to try because that’s also his baby. As expected Damian complain but slowly fall asleep after a few minutes.

Clark gets jittery every night whenever Bruce comes back from patrolling, his every sense slowly tuned into Bruce. His every move. His every breath. All of it is monitored. He waits until he hears Bruce’s breathing even out to fly over there so quickly, most ppl in both Metropolis and Gotham think he’s a shooting star.

He sneaks in through the always unlocked window (odd for Bruce but Clark’s mind is so hazed over by the thought of holding Bruce that he doesn’t realize it’s odd) and pulls his shirt off until he’s just wearing his sleeping bottoms.

He carefully lifts the blanket and sneaks under the covers, wrapping an arm around Bruce’s waist while the other sneaks under him until it’s wrapped around his chest. He lets out a sigh of relief as Bruce stays asleep, shuffling back into Clark rather than away.

This felt right to him, having Bruce in his arms every night. Bruce wasn’t much better in his need. He was just better at hiding it.

He’d been ending his patrol seconds earlier than usual, his skin tingling with the anticipation of a good nights rest in Clark’s arms. It was the only time he slept so soundly that his body didn’t completely ache the next morning.

Sure, literally everyone in this family, including Bruce, are publically out it's still normal to be afraid to come out and Bruce thinks he just needs an extra push.

He starts asking Duke things about his love life, starts saying shit like "I'm always here for you, you know that right?" and even resorts to dumbass shit like leaving little rainbow flags in places he knows Duke will find them.

Duke is freaking out.

Duke: guys, Bruce is acting really strange.

Jason: he's always acting strange. It's Bruce.

Duke: yeah but like extra strange

Tim: strange how?

Duke: idk man he's like, being strangely supportive. Like in a creepy way. And he keeps asking if I have a "lover" and what my type is. It's really weirdly invasive and I don't know what to do

Everyone:

Jason, starts laughing hysterically:

Dick: Duke-

Tim: oh my god.

Dick: Duke he-

Steph, wheezing: holy shit

Dick: Duke he thinks your gay and he's trying to see if you'll come out to him

Duke: but I'm not gay ????

Jason, still laughing: I think he just assumes any kid around him is some form of gay at this point

Damian: I suppose none of us are heterosexuals

So, Duke has to sit Bruce down and break the news that he is straight and exclusively likes girls. Bruce is surprised, thanks him for telling him and now says shit like "I know it's hard but we can get through this"

The kids love it.

While he lives a large portion of his life in the public eye, he is still a private citizen. But he’s the prince of Gotham. So when Bruce freaking Wayne calls a press conference, everyone shows up.

Bruce is incredibly nervous, this is going to be a very vulnerable announcement. Something he’s debated for years. But he’s finally worked up the courage, it’s never too late.

“Ahem, if I can have your attention please.”

“Hello everyone, thank you for coming on such short notice.” He greeted the crowd of reporters and eager fans pushing up to the barricade.

Murmurs and giddy expressions. Hungry for the scoop.

“I’m sure you’re all wondering why I’ve gathered you here today, June first of 2026. . .”

“Get on with it already!”

“Alright alright. Settle down.”

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. When he opened up, Bruce had a determined expression on his face. Gaze scanning the crowd and cameras, making confident eye contact.

He leaned into the mic dramatically.

“I. . . Am bisexual. I am deeply attracted to men along with women.”

Nobody in the crowd batted an eye. In fact, there were many loud groans and obvious eye rolls. He swore he heard someone say ‘that’s it?.’

“Err. . .” This was not the reaction Bruce was. expecting. Maybe some cheers, a couple protests. He was quite perplexed.

“Dude, we KNOW.”

“We’ve been knowing.”

“Everyone knows you’re dating that one reporter from Metropolis.”

All eyes on the room turned to where Clark was sitting in the front row.

Clark, on the other hand, is very bad at concealing his emotions. He stares lovingly at Batman, he clearly wants to hold Batman's hand, he looks so happy whenever he talks to Batman. The rest of the JL feels so bad for Supes bc he's clearly pining after Batman who will barely give him the time of day, so in order to cheer up their friend, they decide to help him get over his feelings by setting him up on dates.

Now every time they have a meeting or are hanging out at the watchtower, the other members keep trying to set him up on dates or introduce to him to people, showing him pictures and trying to sell him on someone, and Clark is trying so hard to politely refuse all this without explaining why and it just makes the JL try harder bc obviously he's just so in love with Batman he can't even think about trying with someone else.

Clark barges into the manor all fake dramatics like "Bruce, how could you!"

Bruce, who has been dealing with teasing from multiple people all day just groans

"You would betray me for Batman!"

"Clark, please," he begs quietly

Clark, barely keeping himself from cracking up, "Tell me, what does Batman have that I don't?"

Bruce just tries to suffocate himself in the couch cushions

Later, bc he loves chaos, Clark tweets "Can't believe everyone thinks Bruce would cheat on me with Batman. If it would be anyone, obviously he would cheat with Superman"

Bruce, feeling salty at his boyfriend, quote retweets with "Excuse me, I have taste. Obviously it would be with Wonder Woman."

Bruce gets a text from Jason:

Can't believe you ruined the one good thing you had going for you by cheating on Clark. You just lost all the respect I had for you.

which was none, but you lost it anyway

Alfred serves Bruce lunch, "Master Bruce, I can't fully express my disappointment in your actions. Mr. Kent is such a superior young man and for you to just throw it all away," he shakes his head sadly.

He works with Selina on a case, "I can't believe you had an affair with Bruce Wayne when you knew he had boyfriend. I thought you had morals. I thought you had principles."

"Selina, can you please not."

"So how is Bruce Wayne in bed? His dick game must be pretty good for you to become a homewrecker."

"I regret this team up."

"Is he better than me?"

Bruce gets a text from Dick:

damn, i thought the whole playboy thing was just a persona but i guess not. absolutely brutal, b

Bruce walks into Tim's office to talk to him about something, Tim looks up and asks, "Does this mean Clark won't be coming around for family dinners anymore?"

Bruce just turns around and walks out.

At the breakfast table the next morning, Damian gives an approving nod. "Batman is a far superior partner for you than the alien."

"Damian, no."

He walks into the living room where Cass is reading and she just gives a very disappointed shake of her head and it somehow makes him feel terrible even though they both know he hasn't done anything wrong.

Stephanie catches him on patrol. "Getting caught doing the do with Bruce Wayne? Not very professional if you ask me, Mr. Shadow-of-the-Night."

Batman and Superman have a shift at the watchtower together and Wonder Woman comes up to them. She looks between them with faux seriousness, "I know things are a bit...complicated in your personal relationships right now, but I hope this will not affect your work here."

Clark, with the same level of faux seriousness, "Yes, Bruce and I are...in a bit of a rough patch right now," he nods sadly, "but Batman and I have both agreed that saving the world comes first and we should act with professionalism while suited up."

"Very good," Wonder Woman nods approvingly.
