JULY 9TH BLACKOUT IN FULL EFFECT. INFO HERE.

If you see any posts claiming to have proof of data-mining, do not believe them.

Valko's code would not include his name. You can't simply search the files for "Valko" and expect to find anything. Each LI is represented by a specific code, and we don't know which code is which. Devs are well aware of data-miners and only use codes that they will be able to recognize and understand.

The post I've seen floating around (this one) includes screenshots from RedNote. First of all...that person isn't even looking in the right place LOL Thank you to the genius in the comments saying, "This ss only shows JADX decompiling the APK’s Android source code. i.e. the standard AndroidX CardView UI library. this isn't game assets, audio, story data, or other resource packages. Searching the base APK can't confirm whether Valko-related assets are present."

RUMOR:

I cannot confirm this, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm merely showing that differing information exists.

Allegedly, multiple people have confirmed Valko’s codes are still there and one account even managed to extract his full 4-star artwork.

Again, I cannot confirm this, and I have only heard it from second-hand sources. If I can find the original source, I will let you know.

Be wary of any information you see. Again, if it cannot be verified, it cannot be trusted.

I'm not sure how many of you have seen the post below, but I want to warn you before this becomes too widespread.

This is completely unverifiable information. Not to mention, the same user posted this:

Please be aware of users that appear to be giving helpful information. As I've said before, take everything with a grain of salt. Unless there is concrete, verifiable proof, don't pay it any mind.

It's posts like these that cause unnecessary fear, anxiety, and infighting. Statements need a source. Posts need proof. Don't allow things like this to pull you away from the community this protest has built. Be mindful of what content you interact with.

Let me reiterate a few pieces of hopium that I've posted before:

Valko's coding still exists in the game! I actually saw a post where Caleb had Valko's nose. Here's the link. This was really funny to me.

You cannot use Valko or Ao Yin as a nickname in the game. This was verified by several players. The only words you cannot use as nicknames are names of LIs and NPCs.

Here's a post of CN girls gathering outside of Infold and leaving gifts for Valko. He is so very loved.

Here's a little piece of the main story that hints at Valko already being present. He's been in the background of the game for a LONG time. They're not going to simply throw him away when he's this important.

We were promised a main story update in 6.0, which hasn't released yet. Remember that Caleb wasn't released until the second patch of 3.0. Even 5.0 was split into patches: 5.0.0 on 12/31/25, 5.0.1 on 1/22/26, and 5.0.2 on 2/19/26. With this kind of schedule, we could be looking at getting Valko in late July/early August.

Infold's silence is not necessarily a deliberate choice—they aren't ignoring us. They're fighting a battle against the media. Allow me to remind you that "under the PRC Civil Code, companies have a legally protected reputation. If a news outlet, blogger, influencer, or another company publishes false statements that damage a company's reputation, the company can file a civil lawsuit." They may very well already be in a legal battle. We found out several days ago that police had launched an investigation into those posting hateful and malicious comments on social media. That investigation would lead them straight to these news outlets.

I know this situation has caused a lot of stress and anxiety, but I urge you to look at the situation as logically as possible.

Cancelling Valko's release was not something Infold wanted. They defended him against antis. It was the media that caused this.

We are actively helping to change the narrative surrounding Valko, and our CN sisters are helping in every way they can. Some articles have already been removed! It's only a matter of time before the truth comes to light.

Every company has a legal team, and Infold's reputation is protected by law. They have every right to pursue legal action.

I've heard a RUMOR that CN girls are also pursuing legal action against the media that spread misinformation. Let them handle things in their country, and we'll do what we can in ours.

I don't know if this will be a comfort to all of you, but it's somewhat of a comfort to me. We cannot control the situation. Learn to be okay with understanding that. We are doing everything we can, and it's enough. This situation is not our fault. Our greatest strength is our voice, and we're using it.

The truth will always prevail. Love will always overcome hate. That doesn't mean the battle will be easy or short, but the facts are on our side.

Lawd what in the world happened on X during my drive...

Let me start by saying that there is a lot of mixed information floating around. It's very difficult to determine what is legitimate, I won't lie to you. People have differing opinions, there is a TON of conflicting information, and far too much speculation.

You all know by now that I want to avoid giving you any kind of misinformation. I do my fair share of speculating, but I don't want to lead you astray. So, with that being said, let's see what's going on.

The Current Protest

As you all know, we've pivoted to challenging the false information in the CN media. However, we seem to be shifting once again. Players have generally agreed that #ValkoWasFramed insinuates that we are challenging or placing blame—which we want to avoid for the sake of not causing any controversy. Now, we want to avoid directly confronting Chinese media.

I know the constant changes are frustrating. I'm trying to keep up with everything too. So, here's everything I know:

Looking Forward

SPECULATION: I'm going to be frank with you—we're probably looking at getting Rafayel's 4th myth on July 17th. Infold is likely desperate to see a jump in revenue. Here's how the revenue chart is looking:

Basically, not good. This is only over the span of a month.

Once again, I'm going to be honest with you—if we want Valko back, we have to hit Infold where it hurts: revenue. That means absolutely no spending. As a myth collector, this is extremely frustrating to me, so believe me when I say that I understand how many of you feel.

However, you can absolutely choose for yourself. If you want to pull for it, don't let anyone shame you into feeling guilty.

But this post explains it well. "If spending spikes back to normal, headlines will write 'the boycott collapsed' and our leverage evaporates exactly when the company is deciding how much our waiting matters." This boycott does not have a deadline. It ends when we get Valko back.

Remember, banners always rerun. There will always be another chance to get it. I'm okay with missing out if it means making this protest stronger.

I very much encourage you to continue boycotting. Money is the universal language. Personally, I will not be touching the game until Infold releases an official statement.

Remember

Question everything, believe nothing. I am BEGGING all of you to use your common sense and critical thinking skills. I don't care if someone says they have "insider information" or they spoke to a CN player or whatever the hell. Unless they come with concrete, verifiable proof, keep scrolling.

Our end goal, no matter how we go about it, is the same: getting Valko back. Keep posting, keep talking, keep being loud. Make your voices heard.

Once again, the universal language is money. Even logging in puts money in Infold's pocket. Boycotting is ultimately your decision, but I ask you to think long term.

Valko's code is HAUNTING 6.0. From Caleb having his nose to Sylus sniffing furniture (posts linked). I've seen all I need to see from this version update, quite honestly. Limbs flying everywhere, heads are either huge or missing, eyes are popping out of their sockets—this is what happens when you don't release the tech guy.

But I need you to take a deep breath and breathe with me.

Valko appearing on the ninth was a longshot. Infold has had two major holidays, been at AX, and is still under investigation. This whole thing, because of *content has never been as simple as 'oh we can just push him out without issue if there's enough hype'.

We have to remember it is much, much bigger than that.

I have already seen a lot of disappointment and spiraling, and I am here to remind you to breathe.

Spiraling before any announcements gets you no where.

Yes, I know the silence is frustrating. Yes, I know how exhausting it has been looking for correct information and only having Infold post on XHS. I am right there with you.

But you have to remember that when the government is this involved, they have to be careful.

Valko hasn't been fully taken down - including their own discord channel. Valko's WU is also still there. Once the system is up, someone can confirm if the 'Coming Soon' is still under the LIs. Last I heard it was.

We cannot spiral. We can keep pushing.

Please - remember people on the other side of the screen are human. Do not attack people for their choice on how or if they choose to continue this fight.

Day 7.

Seven days have passed since the announcement.

Only two days remain until the update. So close... and yet so far from knowing what awaits us. Will we be met with silence? Or will Valko finally find his way into our lives?

These past few days have been emotionally exhausting. The waiting, the uncertainty, the endless questions... they weigh heavily on the heart.

If anything, these seven days have reminded me of something beautiful.

To everyone who has raised their voice with kindness, shared their thoughts, created art, translated information, comforted others, or simply stayed by each other's side...

Watching this community stand together has been one of the most beautiful things to witness. No matter where we come from, what language we speak, or who our favorite love interest is, we have stood together with the same hope.

Whatever happens in two days, no one can take away what these seven days have shown us: compassion, unity, and the strength of a community that refuses to stop caring.

This whole thing isn’t about Valko alone!

It‘s against cyberbullying, esp in CN

It’s about cherishing CN culture and heritage

It‘s about rescuing the game as whole

It‘s about showing infold that global can make a difference

Yeah, bringing back Valko doesn’t change the general issues in the game, but so doesn’t his canceling.

We won’t get an MS faster without him, because HE was the main story atp.

It‘s not about making the other Lis less important. They all are a whole package.

The issues with numbers and difficult sentences was blown out of proportion and could have been handled better instead of weaponizing it to cancel a character.

The 731 was in the game already FOR MONTHS! Where were the CN back in April as the WU was implemented? They could have just contacted infold to change it. Simple as that.

Stop spreading rumors and speculation as if it is fact.

Don’t shame or guilt people who still want to play Love and Deepspace.

Don’t shame or guilt people who are boycotting/uninstalling Love and Deepspace.

ESPECIALLY if you’re getting your info from rumors and speculation on Threads/TikTok/RedNote/Douyin.
