people, CHILDREN, are dying. i see posts all over social media about people, CHILDREN, screaming for help as the flood reaches their heads. i saw a screenshot of a text going around pleading for help, that they see dead bodies floating on the water and it's fucking enough to make me cry. people, CHILDREN, are sleeping on their roofs because, yes, the flood's reached the ceiling of their houses, and YES, they're STILL FUCKING THERE. it fucking pains me that all i can do is bawl and curse. that the highest amount of money i could donate is equivalent to about ten fucking dollars because that's the only amount of personal money that i have since i'm a student and i don't have a fucking job. these people have been tag-teamed by four fucking typhoons, FOUR FUCKING TYPHOONS, and one of them's the strongest typhoon of the year thus far. and with this fucking pandemic, the motherfucking-never-ending corruption of filipino politicians, these typhoons, my country is drowning in both debt and flood. please, we need help.
