How became Koby the ASL's brother?

In the beginning everything went as in the anime. At some point, when Koby started crying, Luffy said:

"Shut up or I'll leave you here" - in the middle of the sea.

Luffy remembered Ace, and had this totally funny train of thought, and at the end he thought: Oh, I became a big brother.

But the story contains.

Koby asked about Luffys little braids. Luffy being Luffy didn't explain anything, but they end up making each others braid - specifically a brother-braid.

But of course Luffy forgot to mention what that means. So Koby has no idea, that he has a family now, while the others had the news from idk Garp and all of them thinks that he's only shy or was too long alone.

I love the idea that there's a really old, almost forbidden (local) tradition, where braids and deads have important rule. Don't worry, i'm not making long hair for everyone, i think just small, short braids for everyone with braids.

Of course there's some simple rules with tem:

- You can braid your hair yourself, or have someone you trust do it. (the first is bc sometimes there's no one around)

- you don't have to braid all your hair, and the braids can be hidden

- Each bead has a special meaning, usually you get them from someone who is important. So there's a pearl for siblings, for love, for parents etc

- The beads are all handmade. And tiny simbols show who or what relationship they came from. (like a small anchor - that's from Luffy)

- Very short hair can be braided too, but there's a lenght that can't. If someone cut his/her that short, he/she mourn or think themselves undeserving. Thats called mourncut.

He become a revolutional here too, but of course later, and he doesn't spend all of his time in Baltigo and missions. Still has a close friendship with Koala.

And do you remember, how Luffy always forgets to mention really important informations because no one asked and it's "not relevant"? I would repeat that Sabo can actually hide his secrets (spy at an illegal army, yk?). At this point, he doesn't wanna keep his secrets from his friends, he just forgot that they don't know about it...

Fun fact, originally I imagined this AU from some Revs pov, with many funny scene:

- Sabo disappears randomly for a week, then come back with pearls in his hear (other story, i will explain later)

- too many unwitting incidents too close to some yonkos and stuff. Seriously, some mates always starting to persume him dead, then he comes back in One Piece (haha). It took longer just bc he'd visited the family but he has no idea that the revs were worrying.

- the moment when Koala finds out Sabos family and its pure chaos.

- the mome t when Sabo finds out that Dragon is Luffys biological dad. He would definitly deny it first, like: nah, I won't fall for it. That is obviously a lie. No, do not continue. Please, tell me that is a lie...

- the young second commander is misterious and the older revs has a pool and most of them thinks he is a D - which is true even if not biological, i belive he is. Also they have other bets (I welcome ideas in comments)

- this random rookie from the weakest blue knows haki. Just how. How.

WB: Be my son!

Ace: No! You are old enough to be my gramps! I already have a nice dad!

Parental Shanks with ASL+Koby (Uta doesn't exist in this AU, Film Red didn't happen)

Dragon used to spend really much time on Rogers ship bc his dad is Garp and he was busy and it looked a good decision to drop his baby for his best frenemy. Consequently, Dragon became a big brother figure to Blue and Red (Buggy and Shanks). And also there's a fourth boy named Con (Constantine), but its not important first. (He's not living on Oro Jackson, but very close to the boys)

Shanks is a pirate so he is selfish, so despite he had taken a promise about no children on board, he went back to Foosha village to visit Luffy. He met with Ace and Sabo, who were at that point Luffys brothers and absolutly wild junglechildren.

At first this is enough, what do you think about it?

Billy became Captain Marvel as in canon, but when Constantine met him, he knew immediately that Billy's just some kid. Okay, not at the moment, because Con has had a really rough day and he was exhausted, but he knew it when Billy left.

I have written about it in this short anyway

After that, Con didn't let Billy live alone on the streets, so Billy started to sleep at the House of Mistery. Billy was then 10-12, and nowadays he's 16, so he had got to know Constantine very well.

I really like them together, Con and billy is a fantastic team, and i love their relationship too.

Ricks parents (Mark and Liz) were secret agents and he was 11 when a mission went wrong. A group of dangerous criminals found the family and brutally killed the adults. They didn't know that Rick was at home, but the kid had watched the entire murder (bc why woudn't I give him trauma?)

In this time, Constantine had lived in London and almost ended the university (Literature). He turned to 22 when the news reached him.

Two options: He will raise up Rick or Rick will be placed in state care.

Okay, I can or cannot be a liar, this au is also crossover with Avengers, but it's not really important. Exept when it IS.

World War One. We have a young Steve Rodgers and a young Peggy Carter. They are really in love, and because they could die like everytime, they don't wait until marriage.

Unfortunately Steve is a kriffing hero and he disappears without knowing that Peggy is pregnant. AND just to make it more interesting, with twins.

I like fancy names, so in the middle of the 20th century, we have Jukundus Mark Carter and Ernesta Lily Carter. (Don't worry, they are both using their second names!)

At first, Lily fell in love with John Cornelius (Cornelius John) and they had Cheryl, but when the twins should be coming, Lily and Constantines twinbrother died. After that Cornelius wasn't a great father and he blamed Con because of Lilys death. Cheryl didn't protect Con, but she was just a kid and she left as soon as she could.

Many years later Mark and Liz had their first child, Sharon Carter (yeah, in this AU she is not Peggys niece, but granddoughter), and later their second child, Richard Carter (he goes with Rick or Agent C)

The important characters are just Constantine and Rick but i just wanted to post somewhere this.

Constantine will or won't be a bit OOC, but I can live with that.

It's a crossover AU between (at first) DC and Danny Phantom, but Constantine doesn't adopt Danny, but the Weston boys.

Also I changed Con's past, so his firstname is Constantine, just everyone misundersand it. Nowaday he has five son and two kind of dougther (difficult story, if you wanna now, read the other posts)

This AU is a crossover with Hetalia too, but you can read it without any knowledge.
