the therapist i saw on friday was like. I was talking about writing stuff down and she was like. "go to TJMaxx. buy some cute notebooks buy some journals buy some unique pens. make it fun for yourself. this is what I do I love TJMaxx this is something I find joy in." okay first of all) fire and brimstone. second of all) *gesturing to men's striped shirt, olive cargo shorts unshaven legs and birkenstocks* do I look like someone who shops at TJmaxx

why did this stupid client scheduler essentially lie by omission and say that [x young therapist] was the best equipped for [my issues] at the location I wanted (even though I had asked for someone with more years of experience) instead of just saying she was the only one available for in-person appointments at that location. Because I humored him and was like yeah ok I'll try this one. didn't work out for reasons specifically related to why I wanted someone with more years in practice (also don't see how she is the "most specialized" if she's barely out of school). so I ask for someone else, he says nobody else is available at this location but there are virtual appointments/possible in-person availability at the other location. so why not just tell me [x therapist] was the only one available for in-person appointments and that's why you were recommending her despite her age/inexperience instead of telling me "she's specialized". If that were the case then I would not have made the appointment. like his original e-mail made no other mention of counselor availability. I just wasted money. should've listened to my gut also I'm reading this post back and it's word salad.
