20: A song that has many meanings to you

i think i tell myself a different story every time i listen to "Imaginary Friend" by ABSRDST. some of it is my OC-poisoning, where the supposed writer inside me keeps jamming characters into the slots, and then marveling at the imaginary animatics in my brain. its an interesting one to toss into dynamics, because i think it really lends itself to this weird, spiraling codependency that can fester entirely separately from the "imaginary friend".

22: A song that moves you forward

i have no idea what's in the secret sauce of "Not" by Big Thief that made it grip me. theres a post on here about "Creep" by radiohead where it seems silly until you listen to it in the exact frame of mind you need it, and then you're FUCKED, because now it's a part of you. thats me with Not.

i think it just speaks to a weird sense of begging while searching for answers. "its not X, it's not Y". that makes it sound more depressing than "moving forward" but i think it loops back around to being a cathartic-kind of motivating, at least to me
