life is strange is the ultimate wlw game when you think about it. max has a doe on her shirt and is watched over and guided by rachel, whose spirit is literally a doe, so she can take care of chloe, someone both girls love deeply
if you believe the storm is rachel’s revenge, she makes sure max and chloe are safe. if the ‘revenge’ doesn’t happen in the ending where chloe dies, you can almost presume that chloe and rachel’s spirits are together now and she’s being held and comforted and her rage is quelled
