Can't All Be Bad Days

Awfully bold to make a movie in 2026 whose premise is ‘we have to keep/reveal the existence of aliens from humans because it’ll change everything’. But that’s what suspension of disbelief is for now, I guess.

I am too much of an artsy wanna be to say it was a bad movie. It was well done with dynamic and evocative shots. You could see the dust in the air. It felt like an old movie (affectionate). I particularly liked the sound effects and music, very 1960s B-picture. It definitely felt like watching the least interesting version of this story. Like aliens are about to be revealed to humanity and we’re following most uninteresting thing happening today.

At one point some characters go to a gas station that’s being overrun with people buying gas and it was like ‘oh there’s something cool happening in the background’.

The ending showed more than I expected but not as much as I wanted.
