hey rotomblr! a lot of trainers have blogs on here so i finally caved and made a blog too lol

BRITTANY UPDATE
ok so its been a little while since my original brittany post and a lot has happened since then
first of all TYSM to rotomblr users @gladeoaurus and @the-cafe-between-space-and-time for explaining what was going on with her! i was super freaked out and these guys helped a bunch.
alright, heres what ive learned…
brittany is a sneasler! sneasler evolves from a regional form of sneasel from ancient sinnoh when the region was called hisui. when i learned that i went straight to the lumiose museum since its showing an ancient hisui exhibition rn (check it out if youre local)!
the exhibition was mostly focused on the culture and way of life but i saw some old pokédex research and sketches by a guy called professor laventon. looked him up online and found some restored images of his original pokédex! huge win.
the dex entry for sneasel says its claws are venomous and made for climbing cliffs, which makes a lot of sense (brittany has always been a bit of a rock climber), but what im most interested in is the dex entry for sneasler.
sneasler is apparently a solitary pokémon that doesnt form packs! very different from weavile, since they have to cooperate on attacks to make up for their small size. sneasler is also friendlier with humans and other pokémon, with some records from ancient hisui saying it carried people up cliffs on its back!
its been so great to learn more about brittany. it explains a lot (the strange colouration, the way she never seemed to get on with other sneasels, the fighting/poison typing) and i know shes gonna make me a better trainer.

Hisuian! That’s a sneasler, back from when sneasels had a ton of resources to evolve big without consequence! Nowadays, they evolve into weaviles and stay within narrower altitudes, not sure how you got your hands on this guy.
i found her on a camping trip but i was in kalos i have no idea how she got all the way here from sinnoh. is long distance travel typical of hisuian sneasels?
i took her in because she seemed to be all on her own, no pack or anything and she was really friendly right off the bat which is weird for sneasels. im gonna have to do some research on sneasler. tysm for explaining!

ohhhhh buddy that is a long ass story. ill do my best to explain but idk how much of this is common knowledge outside of kalos
ok so you know about the uh… incident five years ago? guy in kalos went megalomaniac and fired off this ultimate weapon to kill everyone except him and his organization, weve all heard it
so the guy who built the weapon is a 3000 year old king who also built the bones of prism tower and it turns out that when the ultimate weapon was activated it woke up the towers mechanisms and shit got really weird. crystals forming all over the city, pokemon mega evolving on their own it was a really bad time
anyway about six(?) months ago this local group called team mz basically saved the entire city when the tower went berserk and in that process the tower lost all of its cladding so now its just the original bones but theyre gonna rebuild it (the gym had to be relocated lol)
anyway yeah thats why it looks weird

but! i have a ton of snacks! its mostly sourdough baked goods (my aunt is fostering a fidough we are being buried in sourdough) so take ur pick! i got soft pretzels, croissants, cinnamon rolls, pain au chocolat, bagels, pretzel buns, brioche buns, cinnamon raisin bread, crumpets, scones, aaand pizza rolls!

my aunts been fostering a fidough for a couple months and she just started baking with the yeast
