Okay, so I am not someone who enjoys playing games and dragging people online but I am just so baffled by the level of entitlement that Iām gonna put these up.
So, a couple days ago, I posted a JayVik Bones Au as part of a gift exchange.
I usually allow guest comments cause I think it can be pretty fun and Iāve gotten some good ones. (Also the bots crack me up)
And Iām like; oh itās probably a bot, and I delete it and go on my merry little way.
The next day, I get this comment
Same person, asking for the same thing (which, fun fact, is something that I could get into trouble for if I say yes) Additionally, theyāre misgendering me.
And full disclosure, I am pretty snippy in the last part of my comment but I was starting to get annoyed (plus like: dont misgender people)
This is when my friend stepped in because I was getting really genuinely upset by this person and was trying to avoid cursing them out. Thank you @rosewinterborn btw

They still pitch their fic request.
As you can see, they mispelled JayVik while requesting no JayVik for their timebomb request. On my JayVik fic.
To someone who almost exclusively writes JayVik with some lesbian stuff on the side. And they follow up with: Yes Iām being picky because is a project of my own and Iām interested in seeing othersā takes on this.
I donāt have a problem with Timebomb, I think itās a beautiful ship. I just also havenāt particularly been interested in writing about it.
Butā This was beyond rude and entitled. Fic writers are not prompting machines. This person didnāt even bother to read the fic, or check what I had written in the past to see if I would possibly be interested in that pitch. They came into the comments of a gift fic to ask for this, starting with language that could get me in trouble (you canāt make money with fic guys) and even when told to not ask again, they continued on. They also didnāt even bother to start with something like: hey I really like your fic, could I maybe make a request?
I know this is the internet but holy fucking shit, take a hint and read the room.
