imagine being so deeply bothered by a fictional story that your response is to hide behind an anonymous account and spend your free time trying to make a stranger feel like shit. that isn’t activism, it isn’t criticism, and it sure as hell isn’t something to be proud of. it’s pathetic.

driving someone off an app because you didn’t like what they wrote is genuinely disgusting behaviour. congratulations, you bullied someone over fictional characters. is that seriously something you look back on and feel good about? because if your biggest achievement is making another human being afraid to post their hobby, that’s honestly embarrassing.

what makes it even worse is the cowardice of it all. if you’re so convinced you’re in the right, why hide behind anonymous messages? because you know exactly what you’re doing. you know you’re not trying to have a conversation—you just want to harass someone without facing any consequences for it.

some of you seriously need to grow the fuck up. the block button exists. the mute button exists. scrolling exists. nobody is forcing you to read fanfiction. choosing harassment over simply clicking away says far more about your character than it ever will about the person writing the fic.
