Let me know when we obtain a sacred text from which we derive beliefs about the lack of deities and/or meet and sing songs about the lack of deities and/or attempt to communicate with the absence of deities.

Also, since you provided no evidence for your claim and just loudly stated it as fact, I don’t see the need to address it.

as a way of viewing a specific question regarding the metaphysical, dealing with Gods in a way that we would hold as similar to other Religions, Atheism is reproductive of the same ways of relating to other conceptions of a God that one sees in imperialistic Christianity 

think about how Hitchens was a cheerleader for the Iraq war, how many NuAtheists are in support of imperialism in Islamic countries or for the restriction of rights of Muslims because of a supposed brutalism, an ideological position matched by the Christians they claim to hate

most atheists are not Nihilists of any kind (boring and unfortunate, Nihilism is so wonderful) and are frequently the type to hold against the moral relativism seen in Postmodern thought. their absolute sense of morals, the way they believe they should be instituted, and so on are all things that are fundamentally similar to how western Protestants view the world. 

NuAtheism as a movement is specifically influenced by certain relations towards religion that are influenced by or taken wholesale from Protestant ideology.

If someone’s going to make a case for atheism being a religion, they’d be much better off focusing on humanism instead. If you’re going to look off commonly held beliefs between atheists, they would find through blogs, podcasts, and conference speeches (where pretty much all of the atheist movement is) that humanism is a huge theme. And unlike atheism, which really has no tenets and tons of infighting, there are actual humanist gatherings and chaplains.
