A copy of Al Ghazzali’s Munqith minal Dhalala which Descartes studied was found with Descartes’s handwriting on it where he would underline certain paragraphs and write ‘use this is Discourse On The Method’. As for his cogito, it was mentioned by both St Augustine and even before him by Ibn Sina in Al Shifa’ where he actually disproved it. Its always like this, the West loot Eastern ideas and then picture Easterners as lesser people who have no intellectual heritage.

Existentialism isn’t so atheistic that it wears itself out showing that God doesn’t exist. Rather, it declares that even if God did exist, that would change nothing.
