Occtis chuckled, then wheezed a bit as he spoke in her ear. “You’re lucky I don’t need to breathe.”

“Shut up. You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do this.”

Occtis and Thimble take a day off for themselves when a mishap leaves him the same size as her.

Almost 8 thousand words of pure fluff based on the amazing work by @gros-chat-fait that most of you have probably seen by now. I had such a fun time taking details from that and (hopefully) making them come to life even more!

Three months later a group of pink and blue skinned frat bros (Gender neutral) Find their way in front of your queen, lie horribly, and then when they start to get arrested pull out your God and return it

You're then given the task of monitoring and keeping an eye on this new group of people and see if they do anything odd.

After day one they vanish. They return a week later and say they killed a bunch of giants for a war scientist. You look into that and yeah, that's correct, they did that.

So your queen decides to award them a house in a really bougie neighborhood. You spy on them and overhear their conversations still not convinced they're not spies; all you learn is that at least half of these people have never lived in a house before.

You return later to check in on them. There is a tree on top of their house. It is sixty feet tall, and also bright purple.

It has been three days.

Then they return to the queen and go "Heyyyy so those giants we killed are not actually dead, we just returned them to their house because someone was using the house to summon demons, but we think we found the guy doing that, can we like, go and take care of that?" while also being genuinely confused on why 'Can't everyone just stop fighting?' isn't a realistic solution to this conflict.

They vanish two days later. Three days after that you get a call from a burner phone. Its them. They ask you whats the deal with that giant tree in the middle of Chernobyl, because they are at the giant three in the middle of Chernobyl

They return to the Queen after going through Chernobyl. The queen thanks them for some very important intel that saved several lives. They ask if she's going to imprison them for not killing Cthulhu

They learn you have a car when you offer to drive them somewhere. None of them have a car. Now they're asking you to drive them into the middle of a snowstorm. Then they ask you to drive them to see a dragon

They return to the house you gave them. When you come to visit one of them approaches you and says that 'her son is such a sweet boy he'd never bother you with this, but he's been struggling with this, do you think you could turn this off?' while handing you a toy. You press the power button. Her son is an electrical engineer

They say they're going to fight Cthulhu and need another ride. When you get to where they told you they say 'actually we wanted to go somewhere else' and make you drive them into a forest

Occtis: Wait, so your sister risked her life to save you even though you were on opposite sides?

Azune: We promised to protect each other. We're family. Your siblings would—

Thing is, German (and therefore also Zemnian) CAN have this "one person uses the first name and the other uses the formal name" dynamic but usually mostly when one person is much older and the two are loose acquaintances and/or when it's a teacher/professor and a student.

However, Essek is older than Trent and isn't it Essek who is teaching Trent about dunamancy, so, shouldn't Essek be the teacher here?

I guess what I'm saying is that TECHNICALLY, if we follow German/Zemnian customs here, Essek should call Trent by his first name and Trent should call him "Mr. Thelyss".

Trent would NEVER tho ofc and the show reflects this perfectly even through those little details: He's basically using Zemnian/German customs to make it clear that he thinks HE is the older guy in charge.
