Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem fell victim to a thief while eating dinner at a downtown Washington, DC, restaurant Sunday night, the secretary confirmed Monday.

Noem, who was asked about the theft at the White House Easter Egg Roll, acknowledged the incident and said the matter has not been resolved.

The Secret Service, which provides security for Noem, reviewed security camera footage at the restaurant and saw an unknown white male wearing a medical mask steal her bag and leave the restaurant, a law enforcement source said.

The thief got away with Noem’s driver’s license, medication, apartment keys, passport, DHS access badge, makeup bag, blank checks, and about $3,000 in cash.

John Korir of Kenya pulled away Monday to win the 129th running of the Boston Marathon, surging through the hills outside of Boston to claim a dominant victory in a time of 2 hours, 4 minutes and 45 seconds.

Korir, 28, made a strong move around Mile 20 to separate himself from the rest of the frontrunners and build a sizable lead heading into the closing stretch. That gap, which was nearly a minute with a few miles to go, proved to be more than enough to hold off the chase pack that featured American Conner Mantz, who finished fourth.

Korir, who also won last year's Chicago Marathon, joins his older brother, Wesley, as the first siblings to win the Boston Marathon. Wesley Korir won Boston in 2012 and was waiting to greet his brother at the finish line.

"I had promised him that I was going to win," John Korir said in an interview on ESPN2. "... It is special."

Meanwhile, in the women's race, Kenyan Sharon Lokedi used a last-mile surge to crush the course record by more than two full minutes. She crossed the finish line in 2:17:22, dashing compatriot Hellen Obiri's hopes of winning a third consecutive Boston Marathon title.

A remake or remaster of Bethesda's beloved Oblivion has been expected for years, and has been the subject of numerous industry whisperings in recent weeks. It’s unclear why Microsoft and Bethesda have decided to keep this a poorly kept secret ahead of its release, but a load of reputable sources are now reporting that they are about to drop the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remake quite literally a week from now, the one beginning April 21.

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion’s Coachella set ended abruptly on Sunday when her microphone cut out between songs, with her dancers still on the mainstage.

The artist, who was the day’s second highest-billed act, was nearing the end of a bawdy and charismatic performance, during which she brought out Queen Latifah, Victoria Monet and Ciara as special guests. She had just finished one of her most popular songs, “Big Ole Freak,” and appears to have been about to begin “Mamushi.” Visuals for that track appeared on the stage’s LED screens, and livestream watchers online heard the beat begin.

But the mainstage’s speakers were quiet and in the crowd, confusion reigned. Some audience members booed. As the silence stretched beyond a few moments, the crowd began to chant the artist’s name.

At approximately 9:27 p.m., two minutes after her scheduled end time, the rapper’s microphone appears to have cut out. The “Mamushi” visuals disappeared from the screen and were replaced with a camera shot of the stage.
