I grew up in an lgbtq+ inclusive Methodist church, and even though I’m not Christian now this means so much to me. That church helped me accept myself and I’m glad so many congregations are working to counteract the damage their leadership has done.

It don’t just include speech either, it was so people could petition, have freedom to chose what religious values they want, and to be vocal about opinions without government dictation, it had absolutely nothing to do with social stigma. maybe if ya ass wasn’t watching one piece during third grade government your ass would have learned something.
