Teetering on the precipice of mediocre

On the outset it’s a standard comedy TV show with a couple Emma and Aaron (Aaron is Janice’s son) - you never know their surnames (but it’s not obvious!). They’re getting married and the series is centred around the preparation for it.

Every so often they’ll mention an Auntie Bee (Emma couldn’t pronounce Phoebe when she was young) or uncle Joe, auntie Em (M for Monica!) and uncle C (who sadly passed away 🥺) …..

Clues would dropped as to who they are throughout the season, like Aaron and Emma sharing a birthday, the book that Joey read casually on the side, the wall her her apartment could be purple, her older brother Benny texting about the wedding

Loved how (I think, I was quite tired when I watched it!) Mary was still on the title credits

Loved how the ghosts powers have come on, I mean Robin controlling the twinkly lights on stage and Julian being able to turn the pages on the calendar a bit easier than usual? I do think that’s Alison’s influence

I clocked onto the baddie in about episode 5, but was only half right with it! Although I did spend the first few episodes shouting “it’s you!” Randomly at the tv screen!

They did keep you guessing up until the end, I just kept thinking “well, that doesn’t make sense!”every time a new suspect was introduced.

Although I do think they missed a trick with Humphrey, they should have made his head removable!!!!

I felt alllll the feels with that episode, I was so wanting Claire and Isaac to make it work, but then….poof! It was gone….

It was an amazing episode, it should win all the awards!

I love tv/film moments when a character’s correct gender pronouns are used, especially when a member of the family/friend refuses to use them (yes Klyden, I’m looking DIRECTLY at you, not blinking, giving major shade!)! It makes me so happy!!!

I hope this is the back of Klyden, I’ve hated him ever since the episode that decided poor Topa’s fate, he’s actually been quite abusive toward Bortus over the series, it makes me angry how he treats him…..
