You have to think that's a thread that gets picked back up because otherwise, Charity doesn't want Leyla. Ross doesn't care. They made a point about Sarah wanting a biological kid so like, is she going to not want Leyla when it all comes out? It's all so messy and ill defined and it shouldn't be!

I am just so confused because its almost two years now they are acting like Charity and Mack are not married or even existing on each other’s life because why on earth is she going through all this and he isn’t there to “see her spiral” and why is he traumatized on the down low without her being there for him? Like where the fuck is the spouse support or whatever the fuck it is the point of being married?
I said this the other week but I'm pretty sure Mack is a figment of our collective imaginations at this point. I mean, assuming Charity does get sexually assaulted, I can see why she'd want to keep that from him. But it's all very "tell, don't show." And surely, at some point, Charity has to be like..... Is it worth it? Like yes, telling the truth would be awful but I'm just having a hard time believing that Charity is letting this happen. It's just gotten too messy, why couldn't the story have been Sarah freaking out that Leyla might get ill like her, and they do tests that show she's not the mother? I just feel like there was a more satisfying way for this to come out
