Just got a new binder with my mum and it was awesome, but the person who sold it to us legit said 'only wear it for 8 hours or less, and don't sleep in it.' Us transmasc are really ignoring professional advice ain't we
Honestly, my favourite thing to do as a writer has gotta be straight-baiting. I'm writing a scene where basically a character is getting introduced but my mc is unsure if she can trust him. For context, they're in the middle of the night in the middle of the forest. Anyway, he lets her pat him down and take his clothes off to prove he has nothing on him. I am certain that ppl will read this and assume love interests, cause that's what most stories would do. Imma lean into it by writing something like 'She took off his clothes slowly. The longer it went on, the more his heart began to pound.' and make my audience think something's gonna happen but NOPE. He's ftm trans and they're both gay in opposite directions. I love playing god.
Moral of the story, don't get on my bad side. I WILL draw u either pregnant or in a maid outfit, depends on how I'm feeling on the day. Maybe even both.

Trans privelage is being able to fuck with cis people to no extent, and just watch the confusion on their face. Never said any of this but I'm just waiting for a conversation where I can say something like ' So I decided to not have a dick today' or 'So, before I got my tits chopped off' (If I have surgery). Or even better, I can make shit up about myself. I'm autistic and have thought WAYY too in depth with this, but if I get top surgery and someone asks what my scars r from, I'm just gonna tell them I got into a fight and needed stitches. Also I'm not rlly out to most of my family. Not cause they're transphobic, I just can't be bothered to come out to my extended family since we don't see each other often. But it's gonna be hilarious if I start T and each time they see me I slowly get more and more masc.
I know you used the term privilege in a tongue in cheek way, but this is genuinely an example of transmasc privilege over transfems. transfems and especially trans women are not afforded this much space to be playful about our gender and our transitions!

(excuse the rant) just watched Heartstopper Forever and I can't believe this series is over. It's been such an amazing journey. I love Nick and Charlie and I will genuinely miss them so much. I remember being in year 7, going with my mum to the bookshop and saying 'Hey can I get this? My friends have been reading it.' While pointing at Heartstopper, vol 1 (I'm in year 12 now). I remember going through Netflix and seeing that Heartstopper had a new show. At first I was a little skeptical since LA remakes are usually terrible, but my sister said 'Hang on, let's give it a go.' I remember being in school, and getting so excited whenever I saw the Heartstopper Season 2 trailer playing on our libraries TV. I remember showing my mum Heartstopper for the first time, when we were talking about LGBT representation, and showing her all the volumes I had after that. I remember how she got upset when I watched the next episode of season 3 without her when it was released. I remember how I watched one particular episode of season 3 when things got bad, to remind me that everything will be ok. And just recently, I remember almost crying when I read vol 6, but specifically the line 'Historically, us queers have never asked for permission to exist'. Those are just a few of the memories that stood out to me. I will actually miss this series so much. Thank you, Alice Oseman, for giving me the representation I needed.
Am I insane for watching TADC episode 3 as a way to calm down before bed? I think I am
