Living My Story

A student comes up to me and says the following, "Miss, I know why you became a science teacher." I thought this will be interesting, and replied, "why do you think I became a science teacher?" The response made me so honored to be this students teacher. He looked around, leaned in and said, "you're really Rose Tyler, I know it's a secret, and you became a science teacher so you can teach and also work on a way to get back to the Doctor."

Student, "good morning Miss Rose! Have you called the doctor to come here or are you trying to get back to him?" Did I mention my students are amazing?

Started teaching a STEM class and after going on virtual field trips with my classes I have been renamed...I am now called Ms. Frizzle by all my students. I was so excited I could've cried. Then one of my students is also a whovian, walks up and says, "so did you know Ms. Frizzle is a Time Lady." I told him that is heard this idea. He then replied, "so that makes you a Time Lady." He pulls a sonic out of his pocket and adds, "So, Ms. Frizzle, I've got the sonic, you've got all of time and space. Where are we gonna start?" I almost died of happiness.
