This is the San Perdro Chapel, it’s a historic chapel that was built in 1932 in Tucson, Arizona. The chapel was built over the ruins of the destroyed chapel and dedicated in 1932. It really looks older than it is. Technie Note: This was shot in b/w on a Nikon D800 using a 35 f2.8 shift lens on a tripod.

The Marine Douglas Skycrane C-117D was phased out of service on July 12, 1976, the last C-117D (Douglas DC-3), perhaps the most famous transport plane of all time. The last one C-117D was flown from Pensacola to Davis Mountan Air Force Base, Tucson, Arizona, then moved to the Pima Air Museum for display in Tucson. Technie Note: This was shot with a Canon 1DS Mark II using a 28-200 zoom on a tripod.

A vintage yellow Cessna 140A on display at Pima Air Museum in Tucson, Arizona. The Cessna is a  single-engine, two-seater with room for a couple of suitcases, a light general aviation aircraft for the general public that was first produced in 1949 until 1951, immediately following the end of WWII.
