Minor mentions of gore drugs suicide and just really fucking long
How I came up with the arcs for joe
The "divorce arc"
So I originally got the idea from the fact that he never was home and that joe was struggling at the time and I wanted to show how much joe would give up for the ones he loves. Especially every he worked for from the beetle shack to the company which was everything that originally mattered to him then realized that since hickory was young and cherry barely walking he decided that family is more important than money and duty
The lawsuit arc
So this was before I completely dedicate a theme to Joe's character but is the most important arc showing that a bug raised in a racist home can change.
The depression arc
So this is before I decided that I was going to have joe become a family man and he was a raging alcoholic and still kinda is then he met Ava and his life would change for the better
The bad father arc
So I wanted to show that joe was unaware of what a good father was so he was stuck he was not sure what to do when he discovered hickory was doing drug and was drinking and skipping school. The fact he was concerned but angry and he dealt with alone since Ava was on vacation during this short arc
The true divorce/ return arc
The only reason I did this arc was to have joe return from retirement and become a working man but then he lost his wife and fell into a depressed state again but it helped him discover that he wasn't alone he had his friend (but I mostly did I because I was missing him)
The theme of the arcs
SoI know that they seem random but they all involve the choice between family and duty and the sadness of a choice that serious but that you're never alone from the depression arc being ended by falling in love from the true divorce arc and joe being saved by Pringle and discovering that he won't be depressed for ever. And that he matters the theme surrounding the divorce arc and being saved by crowbar
The heart of lead arc for chapone and guilt
The heart of lead arc is meant to show that in evil there is good and vice versa and that bad decision will haunt you. So I figured no one better to show that then a fucking mob boss who smuggles drugs and sells drugs to children and kills enemies in violent ways
The crack head arc for tophat and silliness
The whole reason for this arc is to get a breath of fresh air from my other arcs to a silly little bug that sells cough syrup and claims it heroin
Ava's employment arc and necessity
The purpose of the employment arc is a sequel to the divorce arc from the other side and to show that Ava was a bug who just wanted a father that was there for her kids and for her and that to see the kids she needs a job so she works for someone she hate Frankt but still works so she can work but she has friends that are there for her
Jeff's Antarchist arc and the craving of chaos
Jeff's Antarchist arc was meant to show that even the most innocent of people have the darkest of intentions from craving chaos and anyone in power should die and we almost succeeded
Labcoat's insanity arc and knowledge corrupts
Labcoat is a simple bug obsessed with contacting the sugar beasts and failing and going insane (I still need to finish his arc after I do Joe's next one and the heaet of lead arc)
Goober's beast arc and humanity
Goober is a bug that barely even is a bug but still craves belonging love and peace like anyone else even though their a beast in form but a normal bug at heart
Future arcs?
I currently have a arcs for both Ava and joe planned both involving new love loneliness and moving on
off topic promo me and some friend are making a indie games and are doing a brainstorming stream and you can give ideas for it join the stream here so come watch minecraft and us brain storm
I have neither negative or positive thoughts on it on one hand on like social media or games I don't agree with it but with stuff like buying alcohol guns tobacco hell even marijuana should require a id when buying any because it prevents underage purchases along with preventing legal companies from accidentally committing a crime by shipping illegal substance like marijuana where's it illegal
guns should require much more than an id, you need a lenghty license imo. (And this seems to be in south canadian terms bc in Canada marijuana is legal.)
I agree to an extent but I'm American and I believe in gun rights because guns are tools that are able to work as a weapon but I do agree guns should require like a background check but no license because guns are defended under our 2nd amendment so it would violate the 2nd because then it's not a right it's a privilege but I'm crazy
ok but no, imo guns a re a privilege and, while they are tools, they are mostly weapons. In Canada, there are barely any, and thats not cuz we’re nice you know, we are not that nice as the stereotypes say we are, but we still have not many, the latest key one being at tumbler ridge in BC, compared to the us which has like fucking 200. This is from multiple other reasons, but guns still should have much limiting, they are not a right, they are weapons of murder
You are aware you can lose your right to have a weapon and around 80% of guns used in violent crime are illegal firearms in the use because they know everything about every legal fire arms so if a legal gun was used they know who it was. But also you can lose rights you know that right for example only people over 18 and with no felonies can own a gun there are programs that are for if a minor buys a gun it belongs to the legal guardian until the age of 18 or 21 for pistols and assault weapons
You are aware that the best time to learn how to use a gun is when you're a kid that way it's burned it to your brain and you can hunt at 10 and if you can't use gun you can't hunt
then don’t use a gun if you can’t use it, don’t,learn it, in my opinion, it’s too dangerous. Maybe you learn it later, letting children use guns is not good
You realize that your talking to someone who has been using guns since I was 5 and you don't just give them a firearm you start off small with a bb gun then a 22 the you work up to higher calibers and if you shoot long enough with a bb gun you know all the safety rules and do you think we just give a kid an ar15 the yes they are stupid easy to use but are dangerous so we have kids use a 22
I think, that yes, people should be able to learn guns at that age, you’ve convinced me, BUT, it should require a lot, I don’t know much about this, but I do know taht, using a gun should require you to, not be, like, dangerous. And so, letting kids use actuall guns I don’t think should be allowed
So let me explain I agree to an extent but if you just to only use a bb gun you don't know how to handle a real gun because bb gun have no recoil and a lot more unpredictable and are so flying balls so it actually more dangerous to only learn with just a bb gun and the other thing about guns they almost always have some form of experience with a gun when people buy one and if they have no experience with guns guns are really fucking easy to learn how to be safe with like gun ranges literally will show you how to safely handle a gun before you shoot along with hunting requirements you to go through a long lengthy course before you can even hunt so I would say that it's reliably safe when it comes to buying a legal firearm it's completely different with illegal firearms
So actually surprisingly Canada has gun crime rate been rising far quicker than the usa do to increase drug crime including Canadian super Labs instead of Mexican super Labs there along with most illegal guns go to the usa they are moved south as they become hot (used for multiple crime and allowing for a bunch of weird gun forensics) But I do agree the usa gun violence is contributed by legal firearms but most are technically illegal because if you buy a gun for someone else it is illegal and can lead to up to 10 years
I have neither negative or positive thoughts on it on one hand on like social media or games I don't agree with it but with stuff like buying alcohol guns tobacco hell even marijuana should require a id when buying any because it prevents underage purchases along with preventing legal companies from accidentally committing a crime by shipping illegal substance like marijuana where's it illegal
