Being 13 on the internet is really awkward sometimes cause some people feel the need to make fun of me for it. Like ok grandpa we get it, you watched the moon landing in elementary school and I instead got to watch your reaction to it chill out. II get it you feel old because 13 seems like a little baby to you, no need to insult me for my birth year. Anyways sorry about this it's just very annoying when people think this is my first year 'in the wild.' I've been on here since I was like 7 I know my way around.

Today I was talking to some other girls in eighth period and they were talking about how the seventh graders are such losers this year. (I am a seventh grader) I asked what was wrong with us and they said "Oh not you just those anime loving SPED kids." Ladies and gentleman I AM AN ANIME LOVING SPED KID.... I didn't contribute much to the rest of the conversation but I was sweatin man I was like "oh god... if they knew if they knew..." Anyways other than that it was nice to hear some of my school's gossip from them since none of my friends are ever involved in that stuff. (Thank god)

I currently have a headache. Not the migraine type though. I know that means I should put down whatever screen I'm holding but I feel better when focusing on something like this. Having a headache makes reading hard too so I feel like I'm constantly mispelling my words. I probably just need to drink water but eh who cares.

I overthink a lot. It’s what got me into advanced classes though now I struggle in those more than learning. I don’t think it’s because I'm in advanced , I think it’s just because everything is hard now. 

Napping is so weird but I like it. Sure I wake up confused and a bit disoriented (though those things might mean the exact same thing) but it’s worth it. My mom was a bit worried it was affecting my sleep schedule but it’s not and I told her that. It’s probably just because my sleep schedule is already so horrible that I need to sleep an extra four hours. (I would never say that to her though) I’m tired tonight though because I took no such nap. I might’ve dozed a little earlier because I can’t remember what I did for like a solid 30 minute time period but who knows.

I love the rain. I love dancing, playing, laughing, I love doing these things while water drenches my previously dry shirt. I love jumping into shallow puddles despite it not having much of a splash. I love when the rain fills the small dip in the sidewalk on the way to the park. I love sitting outside and my siblings laughing at me when I jump at lightning to close for comfort. 

I suck at finding hidden meanings. This is probably the reason I hate analyzing poems in ELA. In ELA she’ll put a poem in front of us and ask us to find some hidden meaning behind it, but all I can see is some person that enjoys spring and watching flowers bloom. I don’t understand how one can pick up that the author was secretly talking about the beauty of birth after death. Especially when said author has been dead for 100 years. 

Habits are weird in the sense of how we just pick them up from others. Like you used to not do something and now you do because someone close to you does. I don’t know, I was just thinking about it because I always pat someone on the back twice while hugging them, sometimes more if the hug lasts longer. This brought up picking up habits from others because I noticed my dad does the exact same thing. He gave me a hug in the kitchen the other night and we both patted each other on the back twice. It was almost rhythmic.
