Something i feel inclined to mention is when ur first starting out or using particular shifting methods sometimes you experience more pain while shifting while it shouldn’t be enough to feel like your dying it might be a bit more Han muscle pains, there was this method I was using where you would flex the muscles in a particular area to start a shift and I noticed when I used that method I expierences more pain but after I started leaning into more astral and energy work based shifting methods it started hurting less anyway meep

So I’ve been able to trigger the shifting feeling a lot easier lately, I’m trying to practice at least once every few days so meep. Anyway from what ive noticed and other shifters have confirmed while shapeshifting isn’t completely painless it’s more like muscle growth pains rather than extreme death type pain…and at the beginning of a shift for me at least it feels like extreme tingles followed by pressure and extreme phantoms then followed by the muscle pains as my body starts to change

if you're an alterhuman, therian/otherkin or fictionfolk and haven't disillusioned yourself with the concept of delusions and fantastical thinking as defined by psychiatry, to the point of refusing to call any belief "delusional" at face value, then I am here to remind you that there is nothing, absolutely nothing standing between a person diagnosed with delusions of grandeur for believing they are a wizard, and you, who sincerely believes that you are an animal or fictional character on a spiritual level. unless you are 'kin but "don't actually believe it", in which case you are not. you need to dismantle the idea of a psychotic "other", who's beliefs and experiences should not be believed/respected once they pass a certain threshold of crazy, immediately. YOU are that other to orthohumans who believe in it

are there any other divine beings who are almost captivated by mortal beings and their behaviors? And I don't just mean human. For me, animals of all kind are so wonderful! From cats to whales to birds to bugs, all of them are beautiful and so very interesting to me! They have very little concept of shame and, even if they do not possess intelligent thinking on the level of a human, they are proud of who they are. Humans are lovely too, but so many are ashamed of who they truly are, and that makes me sad. But I truly enjoy seeing people who are proud of who they are. Though perhaps that is simply because of what I am.

i most likely awakened in 2019, not sure the day. around this time i was on Spells of Magic trying to be nonhuman and change my body. realized i was nonhuman that time. i joined nonhuman circles on tumblr in like 2021.
