Original sketch, because sometimes I need to remind myself that I can still draw with a pencil.

Putting the companion piece under a cut for canon hospital related and intense injury stuff. I know medical equipment and things of that nature can be upsetting for some.

Embarking on a new timelapse series. When the new adult Gaang designs dropped, I got to thinking about the characters who may or may not receive adult designs. If they did appear again, what might they look like? Let me know what you think about this concept and my first design!

I'm also going to pop a poll in here to get some opinions on what characters to include. My personal rules are:

Must have been similar in age to the Gaang during the original series.

Side characters only. No one at the level of say, Suki or Ty Lee, and less likely to appear in the franchise's future, but still memorable/liked by fans.

Survived the original series, as far as we know. Sorry, Jet. 😔

The characters whose inclusion I'm questioning bend these rules. Meng and Hahn fit all the criteria, but I don't know if they are "liked by fans" enough. Yue died, but in a way lives on as the Moon Spirit. I'm not sure if being a spirit means she's ageless, or if spirits can change appearance as their powers grow.

Godslayer AU Doodles

I was getting overwhelmed by non-fanart things, so drawing in a loose, unfinished way was nice. I'd like to get more comfortable sharing rougher sketches (the character designs/outfits could be better, though).

AU context if you're confused: Ichigo is a demigod with the ability to end immortality. He has been trained and sent on a mission to the immortal realm to "slay" Aizen, the god of illusions, whose machinations are causing war amongst the gods, which in turn causes chaos in the mortal realm. When fighting he takes on a form (Mugetsu) that disguises his identity. He passes out his first day in the immortal realm, as he's not used to the energy there, and wakes up to a kindhearted goddess who stabilizes him with a healing spell. He then goes undercover as a soldier in the immortal army to accomplish his mission.

Orihime is a minor goddess, companion of high goddess Rukia, who has not yet taken her ranking tests. As such, her powers are largely unknown, but presumed to be weak. She helps a newly ascended demigod just before the "Godslayer" becomes infamous, quickly realizing they are one and the same. Surviving multiple encounters with a supposedly ruthless immortal killer mystifies her. She befriends a new recruit in the immortal army because she finds his scowling face funny.
