Jean going onto take pride in his hair. The same boy who had chunks ripped from his scalp ends up letting it grow and as he recovers more and more with exposure therapy and showering gets less difficult, he really starts to take care of it. Jean takes extra care in washing it and uses oil to help with its growth and volume. His wild curls get longer and thicker and it is something so, so wonderful & lovely. He receives constant compliments on how pretty his curls are and his loved ones are constantly reaching out to stroke and pet them; he adores it all <3

There’s something so poetically sweet about Jeremy, who we now know is only wanted by men for a good time, having a total stranger have a crush on him for years. Especially when you consider that Jean himself told us that day in the airport that he had never seen Jeremy out of uniform until then- which by association tells us that to Jean, it’s always been Jeremy’s face that he’s been so enamored with. The little dimples; the toothy smile that Jean could picture two thousand miles away. Sure reading about Jeremy’s freckled shoulders and toned thighs is swoon worthy, but let us never forget that those are new developments for Jean. At the end of the day he is still, down to his core, a boy who simply spent years in the Nest having a passive crush on Jeremy Knox’s pretty face.
