A lot of that really. My oldest girl is only 10 and I'm still the best guy but we are getting closer and closer to that teenage thing and it scares the shit out of me (bad pun). My niece, Bandit, turned into one and nothing has been the same. Just joking there too, she's alright. My body has reached that old man state at 40 too though. A night on a stage takes a lot out of me. My back hurts, my knees hurt - I'm glad I don't do the kind of stunts you do, but it's a lot. Sorry, that probably isn't better, but at least we can be in it together.
i don't think it's the same for every kid, so you might luck off and not have to go through it. hell, i might not either. could just be overthinking things and worrying about nothing in the end. couldn't even imagine how you do it, man. getting up there and performing in front of all those people? that's insane to me. are y'all on tour right now? it's nice to know that i'm not the only older guy around here feeling like he's falling apart sometimes. the stunts are hard. i will admit that fully. they're fun, though. sometimes i look back and go 'what the hell was i thinking doing that?' but i don't regret it.
97: are you a fan of romantic gestures?
if my partner is in a romantic mood and wants to do something romantic then i am one hundred percent on board with it. it's the thought that counts, ya know? however, i do like to be the one doing that sort of thing. i like to show the person that i'm with how much they mean to me. whether it's in a huge way or little small ones.
thirteen isn't that bad, i mean i have no room to talk since i'm still in my twenties and i don't have any children yet so i can't really relate. damn so in just a good few days it's about to be her birthday, happy birthday to her i know she doesn't know me, but hey a little birthday greeting never hurt anybody. hey she'll be thirteen not thirty, i mean i'm not sure what age teenagers feel it's weird to be hanging out with their parents but you may have a few more years with her before she doesn't want to anymore. i'm sorry was that not helpful? again i'm still in my twenties but i'm sure a girl will always have her father as her favorite guy in her life. not a whole lot going on in my life at the moment just waiting to get busy again work wise.
you're probably right and a lot of others have been saying the same thing. it's just a little nibble in the back of your mind, ya know? maybe not know since you've stated several times you're in your twenties with no kids. one day you will, though, if you ever decide that you want kids. some people don't and i get that. my fingers are crossed that she will always realize she needs me. maybe not that same way she needs her mama but in our own special way. not working a lot lately? i can honestly say i don't know anything you've done other than the one show you were one. forgive me for not watching a lot of things, i rarely have the time to sit down and do that.
(1010) biggest regret?
i try not to live my life in regret. are there certain things i wish i would have done differently? of course, that's human nature. that doesn't mean i regret how it was handled, though. through the tough choices, through the wrong choices, i grew as a person. i learned from mistakes. the one regret i do have, though, is not being there more when my daughter was younger. i worked a lot and missed some things i couldn't help with how grueling my job was.

When you got the call to play Russell Shaw on Tracker were you excited to take the role or did you question it at first? #651
at first i was wary, the role is one that i felt was a lot like Dean, just without the Supernatural aspect to it all. then i went in to talk things out and felt a lot of chemistry with Justin, who was a friend before even going on there to play his brother. so, in the end, i was okay with it. the role is fun. like an old skin i was putting on again. if that makes any sense at all.
If your love life had a classic rock song title, what would it be? - 818
The song that popped into my head automatically was You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC.
i was going to go with 'that's not what you said when' responses but we both know that the sex was horrible, so yeah. hatred it is. except i don't actually hate you. you just work my last nerve 85% of the time. @scarlettjchanssns
Do you see yourself having more kids? -400
my husband can't get pregnant and it's not something that we've gone into length about but if one day he decided he wanted to have a child, we'd look into our options and see where things went. i'm not against having a little Oliver Stark running around the world. that little one would be adorable. @oliver-ssstark
97: would you feel comfortable if your current partner & your ex became friends?
i know a lot of people probably wouldn't be comfortable with that but i'm not one of them. it would make my life a lot easier if Dee and Oliver became friends. they are the two people i trust the most in the world and i could see them possibly being friends. or not friends, at least cordial with each other for the sake of JJ. so that nothing comes off as uncomfortable for her. Dee isn't going anywhere and neither is Oliver. in the end, JJ's comfort will come before anyone else's. @oliver-ssstark

Damn, I though you were like 35 not gonna lie. How does it feel to have a teenager around. About to start high school and dating? Like how are you gonna handle all that or is that something your baby momma will handle? Not a whole lot. Just touring and relazing, Trying to figure out whats next for Bailey. Y'know.
it's those good Ackles genes. we all look a lot younger than we actually are. it will be something we both weather together. Dee and i are still friends, even though we're not together anymore, so we talk a lot and plan things together. JJ growing up into a young woman is something we'll weather together. it sounds like a lot of artists are on tour right now. where are you at at the moment? and how can i cash in on some primo tickets to one of your shows?
Well, if it makes you feel better I'm in my 30s and I still hang out a lot with my dad when I have the chance. We go on a lot of vacations together too, the whole family , so don't lose hope...mmm...me? I'm touring right now with the guys, ready for the busiest year yet and so excited for it
that does give me some relief. i'm still close with my own parents and i'm closer to 50 than 30 these days. so i do have some hope that one day, if it does happen she pulls away, one she's older she'll realize i'm not that bad. having family vacations is a must, especially when kids are younger. what type of things does your family do together? that sounds like a good time! are y'all going to be touring in the US?
No, I donβt mind it at all. No, I donβt need more orange juice to throw up but thank you. I am happy to be the only other person to see you be this way.
should i get the nurse to come back? it doesn't sound like you're getting any better, babe. or maybe a trip to the hospital? tell me what you need to feel better 'cause i'm feeling like a failure here.
97: what would you say is the biggest mistake that you've ever made?
letting @jayxackles go a year ago but i think i fixed that.
Jensen, my man, what the hell? You leave us with that beautiful and soul crushing Supernatural ending after ripping our hearts to shreds with that Castiel scene and you can't even send us sympathy baskets? Am I about 6 years too late?! That's neither here nor there. The point is I am mad at you and you owe me a basket of treats to make up for my distress. @jayxackles
i'm sorry, Ms. Olsen, for not sending out to the entire world baskets of feel good things because i died. i'll have to put that into my will for when i actually pass on. 'send out grief baskets'. this should be a thing. what Castiel scene? i'm blanking on what you're talking about. teasing. it's why the Destiel fans are up in arms because i recently said that they weren't a thing. on my gravestone someone is going to tag 'Destiel hater' and i'm going to go down in history as being some old lame guy.

ππ. Who are five people you'd like to get to know better?
well, in no particular order all of these people are badasses in their own way & i'd love to get to know them all a little better!

you're talking my greatest fear, man. my boys are only nine and six, but it feels like the teenage years are already on the horizon. i mean, i find some comfort in the fact that they're still laughing at the whole 6-7 thing, but i've started catching the sideyes and the "really, dad?"s more frequently these days, so... my time's running short. but your daughter's got the coolest dad in the world, so i think you're standing strong. happy early birthday to her!
are they anything like mine and not impressed with anything you do? workwise, at least. for some reason she thinks my dad jokes are funny, so i'm winning in that way but losing in others. i posted a picture not long about that whole 67 thing - that i will never understand - and she actually congratulated me on being 'one of the cool dads'. how is mentioning 67 cool? i don't get it.
