With colorful shapes, white chocolate, and metallic accents, you can make these trendy geometric modern cake pops inspired cookies. Ideal for special occasions and creative dessert lovers.
Ingredients: 1 cup butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 3 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. Food coloring gels various colors. White chocolate candy melts. Assorted geometric fondant cutters. Lollipop sticks. Edible metallic paint various colors. Edible glitter.
Instructions: Mix the butter and sugar together in a bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. Mix the egg and vanilla extract in well after adding them. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a different bowl. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients one at a time until a dough forms. Separate the dough into equal parts and use different food coloring gels to color each one. Put each color of dough in a plastic bag and put it in the fridge for one to two hours to chill. Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Each piece of chilled dough should be rolled out to a thickness of about 1/4 inch. To make shapes out of the rolled dough, use the different geometric fondant cutters. Put the shapes you cut out on the baking sheet that has been prepared. In the bottom of each shape, put a lollipop stick. After the oven is hot, bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way. Follow the directions on the package to melt the white chocolate candy melts. Let the extra white chocolate drip off of each cookie after it has cooled. Cover the area with chocolate and sprinkle edible glitter over it before it sets. After the chocolate has set, use metallic paints that you can eat to make modern geometric shapes on the cookies. Let the paint dry all the way before you serve it or package it.
