Indulge in the ultimate chocolate and peanut butter dessert with this Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Oreo Baked Alaska. Creamy ice cream, crushed Oreos, fluffy meringue, and a chocolatey finish make this a delightful treat for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 cup chocolate ice cream. 1 cup peanut butter ice cream. 8 Oreo cookies. 4 egg whites. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 cup cocoa powder. 1/4 cup chocolate chips.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 450F 230C. Crush the Oreo cookies into small pieces and set them aside. In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate ice cream and peanut butter ice cream until they are well mixed. Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies. Spoon the ice cream mixture into four individual serving dishes or ramekins. Smooth the tops and place them in the freezer while you prepare the meringue. In a clean, dry bowl, beat the egg whites until they form soft peaks. Gradually add the granulated sugar while continuing to beat until stiff peaks form. Mix in the vanilla extract. Remove the ice cream-filled dishes from the freezer and top each with a generous layer of the meringue, making sure to cover the ice cream completely. Place the dishes on a baking sheet and transfer them to the preheated oven. Bake for 2-3 minutes or until the meringue is lightly browned and slightly crispy on the outside. While the Baked Alaskas are in the oven, mix together the cocoa powder and chocolate chips in a small bowl. Remove the Baked Alaskas from the oven and immediately sprinkle the cocoa powder and chocolate chip mixture on top of the meringue. Serve immediately and enjoy your Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Oreo Baked Alaska!
