Jason: [Listens to the line ringing]

“Alright, here is what we are going to do. You will get what we need and shove it into the bag and I’ll distract the woman at the counter.” Jason might have been looking scruffy lately but he still knew how good he did look. So they had to use it right? Anything to keep moving.

Sasha had no idea yet that she was pregnant, that they’d be raising a baby on the run… but she felt they could face anything together. She was happy he was going with her, though it felt selfish to let him. She bit her lip as she watched, almost holding her breath. It had been so long since she hadn’t felt this think on her ankle and when it was off, there was a brief moment of relief, and then the panic kicked in again as she jumped up, grabbing his hand and a couple extra things as they rushed out of the house. When he said they were free she could hardly believe it. She jumped into the car once everything was thrown in the backseat, making sure she had her bank card so she could withdraw all her money, and turned to look over at him as they drove towards the town boundary. “I love you so much…” She told him, hoping he knew how much she appreciated this. Honestly - she wasn’t sure she’d be able to do this without him. Turning to look out the back window as they passed the leaving town sign, Sasha watched Baberton disappear behind them, and then she turned and faced forward, focus on their survival and their future.

Cassie had been it. But Annie had came between them and he didn’t fight hard enough for them. Not this time though. He wasn’t going to lose Sasha. And he truly did want to go with her and hopefully that showed in his eyes. Of course he had questions about Chloe. He wanted to make sure she was safe. But his concern right now was Sasha and getting out of town with her. Nodding his head, he leaned down and used the bolt cutters to cut off the ankle monitor. Dropping the cutters, he grabbed their bags and her hand and started off downstairs this way they could get away. “We’re free now.”

Jason believed her, really believed her. The deal was clear. Even if he fell in love with Sasha in the process. But still he believed that she wouldn’t hurt Chloe. She had no reason to right? No, she didn’t. So he believed her. “I’m seriously, Sash.” He did want to go with her. Break the law for her because well he couldn’t picture his life without her in it. She was his endgame so to speak. “I know but I want to do this. I want to do this with you.” Screw everything that he had here. It didn’t matter to him. She mattered to him. He kissed her back even if it was quick. “Good. Do that.” Taking out his phone, he started to google how to get that thing off her ankle. “We will just withdraw both or all of our accounts and just use cash.” That was what happened in the movies right?  Moving downstairs, he moved out to the shed and found what he was looking for. Coming back into the house, he rushed upstairs. “After I cut this off your ankle, we have to move. The cops will be alerted as soon as I remove it.” He held up the bolt cutters. “Are you ready, babe?”

Jason never expect to have love again. Not after Cassie but he did with Sasha. Fuck. He had fallen hard for her. Sasha fucking Miller, the person that killed Annie. Fuck. Maybe he was fucked up but it seemed to match hers. When she thrusted her phone at him, he looked at it. Of course he hated seeing Chloe like that but he knew that Sasha didn’t do this. They had a deal. And it wasn’t something that neither of them broken. Yet. Taking a moment, he tossed her phone down. He knew it was pointless to even try to explain this to the police. Fucking idiots. “We go together.” He finally said, looking back at her. “You will never go back to that place as long as you have me around.” He promised her. Jason knew about of some of things that happened to Sasha there, only because she told him. “Pack two bags and I’ll figure out how to get that fucking thing off your ankle. I have money saved up.” He did. All those test papers he sold, and his job. He had enough money for them right now.

“She has a broken arm, wrist, had something happen to her head and some internal stuff. They lost her for like five minutes.”

“No, she isn’t.” Did Imogen not know? “She was in accident actually.”

“They aren’t saying much which pisses me off.” Jason exhaled also before he started putting the chairs down onto the floor. “I know it probably wasn’t just some accident considering the guy didn’t stick around.”

Jason sighed a little bit, looking over at Thomas for a moment. “One of us should have been there. I feel like somehow we broke a silent promise to Brad.” He shrugged a little bit. “But I’m fine. I just need to step up and do this for her.“

“We aren’t exactly open yet.” Jason stated when he heard the bell above the door. Since Nina was in the hospital, Jason made a decision to step up and run things especially with Gabbi out of town. “But we will be in a few minutes.” // @secretsummerstarters​
