The holiday season is a great time of the year for most of us.  It’s a time of togetherness, being surrounded by the people we love and care about.  It’s a time we give and receive gifts.  And it is a time we fill up with a ton of food at three Friendsgiving dinners before the actual Thanksgiving day, and then we have a ton of left overs to enjoy after. Â
During a night out, Chris and I passed by a homeless man sleeping who only had a light blanket over himself; it barely covered his feet!  It was a pretty chilly night, and we couldn’t even imagine how this man, along with the others in his situation, were going to get through winter.
Seeing this man on the street has motivated us to give. Â Every person deserves to have their basic needs met, so we decided to start a collection. Â We are looking to collect the following:Â
Canned goods, Dry food, Bottled Water, Tooth Brush, Tooth Paste, Dental Floss, Bandaids, Underwear, Neosporin, Cortisone Cream, Cotton Swabs, Listerine, Deodorant, Razors, Nail Clippers, Baby Wipes, Thick Socks, Blankets, Clothes, Batteries, Feminine hygiene products, Anti-diarrhea tablets
Depending on what the response to this post is, will help us determine how to distribute these things. Â We will either pick a day to physically hand these things out to the homeless or to find a church where we can give our donations to.Â
If you have anything to donate and/or would like to be involved, please message me!Â
