Since my posts have been getting decent attention, I felt like I should make an introduction post for this blog.

✨What the heck is this blog?

Hello! This is a blog where I post pretty much anything I feel like sharing with others; whether that be rambles about characters or ships I like, random thoughts I have on something, silly observations, and anything else. I'll occasionally share my art here and I kindly ask that you do not repost it anywhere.

I have asks open where you can ask me anything (within reason of course) or send me any comments you have. I might do requests if people really want that. Don't make me regret having this open lol

✨What's up with that one part of your description?

You might've noticed that my description says I might use this to promote my game. I'm thinking of making a separate blog for that, and if I do, I'll edit it here. But I am working on something! And it's got a cool story, colorful characters, and mayhaps even queerness.

✨What pieces of media have taken over your brain?

Things that you will normally see me posting about include Sonic, Genshin Impact, RWBY, and too many other things that I can't list.

But this hasn't stopped me from engaging with the Hellaverse in some way.

In the past couple years since Season 1 of Hazbin Hotel released, I've seen so much drama surrounding the show like "The writing sucks" and "Vivziepop sucks and she makes the characters swear so much". And yet I'd watch fan content about the show like cosplays and seeing what my favorite YouTubers have to say. I really like the cosplays I've seen, and they've made me interested in the characters, specifically Charlie and Angel Dust. And seeing a couple YouTubers I watch enjoy the show despite its flaws made me go "... Huh. Interesting."

This one content creator I started watching because of their Digital Circus shorts mostly makes Hellaverse stuff, and seeing their passion for it has made me go "... Interesting."

At this point, I've had a growing interest in the series but also a voice telling me "Hmm, I don't know." But then I heard this from that same creator's short (paraphrasing): "The way the internet treats the Hellaverse is the exact same way the internet treated Steven Universe back then." And that changed my entire thinking. I saw all the Steven Universe hate back then, yet I still ended up watching the entire series and loving it. Heck, I love RWBY despite everything. So if I'm interested in Hazbin Hotel, what's stopping me from watching it?

ALL OF THIS BUILD UP is for me to say I have recently come to the realization that I want to watch Hazbin Hotel. I want to watch it and see why people enjoy it despite what everyone says (and also so I can stop being a "larper" lol).

I don't know when but I will watch this show and I will be going in sort of blind. I watched a review of Season 1 a couple years ago, so I remember some things that happen, but I know nothing about Season 2 other than people are mixed on it (and also that Charlie has weird writing or something). I also have never listened to any of the songs. I know that the songs are very popular, yet I've never listened to even a snippet of one.

The whole point of me making this post is for me to share my thoughts (because that's what this blog is: random thoughts lol) and also maybe document my journey of becoming a Hellaverse fan. Whenever I get around to watching the series, I might share my thoughts on specific characters/moments/episodes. Maybe I'll even attempt to draw the characters (I'm interested in Emily because I really like her design).

I think it'd be cool if Arc System Works made a Sonic fighting game

Imagine this: a Sonic fighting game in the 2.5D style Guilty Gear has, three vs. three battles as a nod to Sonic Heroes, a super cool soundtrack, and a wacky roster.

I really want Daisuke to cook up at least one Sonic song. Imagine a Sonic character theme with weird yet thought-provoking lyrics like in Guilty Gear Xrd and Strive. I'd actually ascend.

And this is just wishful thinking and maybe copium on my part, but imagine a roster that's a mix of "ok that's expected" and "what the f-". Like, the first DLC character is Classic Sonic or something and the very next is Sticks or a Storybook character. It's a fighting game, they should be allowed to go crazy with the characters.
