The Soul of a Sunflower

I am alone. In all aspects. 

Ive realized this loneliness is due to how I have allowed people to not show up for me and over extended how I show up for them and the world. 

Rarely. Have the people around me ask, are you ok, how are you showing up. 

I feel as if I could go days, weeks and months without even being asked about.

If I could go that long without concern, do I even matter? 

Would someone care?

It bizarre because I had a friend in this exact space... she’s gone now.... and now I understand more and more how one can get to that point. But what's worse is when you are at that point, all alone.  

When you're there and its done.... few will actually care and even fewer will actually know.
