This piece was extremely hard for me to make, not only because of how much detail there was to copy from the original painting but also because I recently lost my mum and this was my first attempt at finishing something without her input. Thank you to my dear friends who supported me through it in her steadšIt's going to be hard to do art from now on but every time I do draw I'll try to remember all the whack high-pitched scream-filled calls we had whenever I showed her anything xD She was really proud of me despite my shortcomings. I love how she always said "how come I can't paint like this?" even though she made beautiful embroidery, made me three sweaters last year and knitted the cutest socks for the whole family every damn Christmas. She was an artist herself but never accepted that title. I owe her everything.
