I dont use tumblr anymore

For real though, I needed somewhere to express everything I’m feeling right now, so from this death comes a resurrection. It has been an emotional day, and an even more emotional night. Im sure one day I will look back and laugh about how emotional I got over a youtube channel I found 14 days ago. 

Tonight was the end of Unus Annus. A youtube channel with a set expiration date. Im genuinely shocked at how invested I got over these last 2 weeks. There is a part of me that regrets not finding this channel sooner, but another part of me that wouldn’t have it any other way. Everyone experienced this channel in their own way, and this was mine. 

This channel has taught me a few things. One, that I am still extremely terrible at handling death, physical and symbolic. Second, and probably the most important: I am not happy with where I am. I am not happy with what I’ve done. There are so many things I have always wanted to do, and I have done virtually none of them. 

At the beginning of quarantine, I told myself I would take the time to start writing and making music. Exactly 8 months later and I haven’t done a thing. I have always wanted to make youtube videos, and I never have. But, like I said, from this death comes a resurrection. This is my point. This is the point where I start. It has to be. My clock is ticking, and I don’t know when it will end. I need to start now, or I never will.
