Ok I keep seeing all these posts about spongebob and how bikini bottom is riddled with racism and sexism and all I have to say is… Ok but let’s talk about Rock bottom? You remember rock bottom? It was depicted as a horrifying and terrible place but honestly what was so bad? Spongebob just goes to unfamiliar territory and freaks out because people look different and he can’t tell their gender. No one harmed spongebob there but he wanted out. Even the guy that spongebob ran away from was just trying to help him get back home.

Like rock bottom is a very equal society. They respect the rules of the line which spongebobs privileged self thought he could bypass. No spongebob you are not special get to the back of the line?
