I was thinking about Jason's autopsy scar. Bruce returned to Gotham with Jason's body intact with all intents and purposes of burying him quietly but while he could pay off the authorities over seas, to file a death certificate for Jason, the ME had to determine cause of death. Think about it: billionaire's ward mysteriously dies overseas in an alleged terrorist attack and said billionaire wants to quickly bury and 'forget' his adopted son. Of course they insist there be an autopsy. Bruce fights it but they have the law on their side and they carry it out, only notifying him when the autopsy is complete and they can collect him and Bruce breaks down for the first time after Jason's death. They cut into his son's flesh, they handled his body, they were all strangers and he couldn't stop them, like he couldn't stop the Joker from hurting his son. He knows he is dead, that the procedure couldn't effect Jason because Jason is no longer here but that's his boy, his Robin, his son and he's dead. Whenever Bruce sees that scar he's reminded of that moment because it was then that Jason's death really hit home.
