[OOC:] I think I’m done with this account for a while...
I’m sorry... The MLP fandom is getting to be too much for me. My anxiety has been spiking really badly whenever I go into fandom spaces for years now. I’ve been really struggling to feel safe and comfortable around the MLP Fandom due to how... adult they can be. I can’t even look at fanart anymore without feeling uncomfortable because of how often fan artists tend to draw explicit adult content. I understand it pays the bills, and I don’t judge them for doing it, but it makes me feel super gross and uncomfortable to be around (I’ve tried to get used to the fandom being like this, but I don’t think I can control my anxiety and paranoia anymore unfortunately).
So because of all that, I think I’m going to leave for a while. I’m still looking into getting therapy and I may have to experiment more with my anxiety meds, but continuing to be in fandom spaces is becoming too taxing for me to continue. The paranoia of looking at fanart and fandom users and figuring out if they’re safe or not is too much for me to handle. Maybe someday I’ll be back if I can get my mental state under control, but for now this is goodbye.
I’m sorry again. Hopefully next time I see you all, I will be in a better state of mind. Izzy loves you, and don’t forget to drink water. <3
Hey all, I just wanted to apologize for being pretty inactive lately. I’ve been struggling a lot with my Anxiety and Paranoia lately, and the MLP fandom is a huge source of it for me. I’ve been taking time away to just focus on myself and trying to calm myself down. So far, it hasn’t been going great, but I’m looking into getting a therapist to help me with this, and my doctor has increased the dosage of my anxiety meds to help as well.
I still love MLP, that much hasn’t changed. But I struggle to feel comfortable and safe in the fandom, so I’ve been just trying to get myself to a better mental state and seek out some help. The new MLP Make Your Mark series is set to come out in less than a week, so I’ll probably make a post about that if I feel up to it, but for the time being I’m going to be relatively inactive as I work on myself IRL.
I hope y’all can understand my situation, and I hope to be back soon enough. For now though, I’ll be heading out. Don’t forget, Izzy loves you! 💙
I’ll avoid talking about spoilers in this post, but there has been a few things revealed about Make Your Mark through some screenshots released by Netflix, and it’s got me really excited! I will say that some of the screenshots feature the Blue pony shown at the end of the Make Your Mark special when we saw the dark alicorn pony, and I’m really excited to see what the Blue pony is going to do in MYM because she’s really cute and I love her design!
I’ve got a lot more I could say about this Blue pony, but because it would have me talking more about the screenshots (and because it’s a lot of headcanons), I’m not going to do that now. But when the MYM series comes out, expect me to talk about that Blue pony for sure! :D

I already made a long post about this issue recently, but I’m honestly reaching a bit of a breaking point with MLP: Tell Your Tale. They released another Izzy-focused episode today (a day early for some reason), and it really made me upset.
The episode is about Izzy getting some materials to fix up Sunny’s Lantern (as shown in the Make Your Mark Special), and it immediately starts with Izzy being a nuisance to everyone by breaking their stuff for supplies. When she runs out of materials, she goes around Maretime Bay harassing ponies and businesses by invading their space and trying to take things, before eventually chasing Posey down on her Moped to try and rip out her earring.
After that fails, she goes to a dumpster and sings a song about trash being great, which (besides the musical number feeling awkward and unnecessary) ends with Izzy finding a ring she needs for the Lantern. It cuts back to Izzy being at the Brighthouse, and the finishes the lantern. After watching it glow, Pipp comes out to yell at Izzy about her destroying her hairdryer, which Izzy says she’ll fix before ending with Izzy going back to the Dumpster.
So after watching that, I just feel really upset again. This makes 3/4 Izzy episodes being about people being upset at her. The only good thing I can say is that at least this episode isn’t about her friends ignoring/abandoning her yet again. I just don’t get what the TYT writers have against Izzy to make basically all her episodes be about Izzy causing problems and making ponies upset. It makes me even more upset to see that the 3D Movie and Special are the only sources of G5 media that hasn’t done this yet (besides merch of course).
I take the 3D stuff to be the highest tier of canon for G5 since it’s the main series. If there’s something contradicting between the 3D stuff, TYT, and the comics, I’ll probably consider the 3D stuff the canon material. Izzy’s treatment in the Movie and the Make Your Mark special are completely different, with the 3D stuff treating her as part of the group and her friends enjoying her presence, and the 2D/Comic stuff making her friends abandon or actively dislike her frequently.
And one more thing about this new episode: Why did Izzy have to dumpster dive in the trash? Recycling bins are an established thing in G5, in both the Movie and Tell Your Tale (as pictured below). These bins are for the EXACT purpose of recycling, and heck, Izzy’s craft is called unicycling, it should’ve been the first thing she checked! Izzy couldnt’ve missed it either since this recycling bin is directly next to the Smoothie Cart Sunny works at.
I’m really sorry to sound like a broken record talking about this again, and I’m sorry to be so negative, but I’ve given Tell Your Tale multiple chances to write a good Izzy episode, and the only episode I actually sorta like with Izzy in it is the Sunny-Day Dinners episode (and even that one doesn’t treat Izzy all that well, nor is it an Izzy-focused episode).
I’m honestly getting to the point where I might just skip all the Izzy-focused episodes because I’m finding it hard to believe they’ll start treating her well after so many episodes of treating her poorly. I just get angry and upset by the end of these episodes, and I wish I didn’t have to skip out on Izzy content, but I can’t really see a way to keep enjoying TYT without skipping them. 😞
I usually wouldn’t post about this, but I’m very happy with how this turned out! It took like an hour or two to make this, but it was SO worth it!

I hope y’all are having a good day so far, and today marks the beginning of Pride Month! For today, I wanted to talk about my LGBTQ+ Headcanons for the G5 cast a bit more!

Lesbian Sunny & Bisexual Izzy: I don’t think it comes as much of a surprise that I ship Sunny and Izzy quite a bit. I loved their interactions in the movie and the Make Your Mark special! While the Make Your Mark special had less moments of Sunny and Izzy in general, the special showed Izzy’s care for Sunny with her helping with getting ready for Maretime Bay Day and Izzy’s project of fixing up Sunny’s old lantern that her dad made for her.
I think the idea of Sunny and Izzy being together would be sweet, and that’s why I see them as being Lesbian and Bisexual respectively.
Non-Binary Izzy: On the note of Izzy, one of the idea’s I’ve seen around is the idea of Izzy being Non-Binary, and I actually really like the idea! I feel like Izzy would probably still be fine with being referred to as a girl, but I don’t think she’d really care all too much about how ponies refer to her. I feel like she’d be Agender or Genderfluid and use Any/All pronouns. She likes art, so she understand that everyone has their own views and interpretations of the world, so if folks see her differently, then so be it!
Transmasc Zipp: To be clear with this one, I’m down for any Trans Zipp headcanons, whether they see her as Transfem, Transmasc, or Non-Binary. But for me, I’ve gotten some massive Transmasc vibes from her (I will be using She/Her pronouns for her here given that she doesn’t officially use He/Him pronouns as far as we’re aware).
From not wanting to be referred to by her full name, to asking folks many times to just call her Zipp, she seems to not want to be known for things that make her feminine. She’s shown to be adverse to makeovers, hair styling, and karaoke, and while that doesn’t specifically mean anything, it does show that she isn’t into as many stereotypically feminine things. I think her being Transmasc would make a lot of sense, and I’d love to see her experiment with her identity in the show.
Non-Binary Pipp: I admittedly don’t have much to say about this one. We still don’t have a ton to work with when it comes to Pipp due to her lacking focus in both the movie and the special. I do however like the idea of Pipp being more of a Demigirl. I’d imagine that her massive online presence has partially caused her to feel a bit disconnected from her identity in a way, which causes her to have an online persona and her true self be seemingly two different people in a way. Both are still Pipp, but I’d imagine that Pipp would start to see herself in a way that feels like a bit of a different pony depending on the situation.
I imagine that Pipp would use She/They pronouns, and she’d use They/Them more when it comes to her true self, while her online personality prefers using She/Her. I could see Pipp having a bit of an identity crisis where she questions which version of Pipp is the one she truly wants to be, and eventually coming to the conclusion that she likes both, and works towards having a healthy balance of both.
End notes: I hope this made sense to y’all, and I hope you enjoyed reading about my personal LGBTQ+ headcanons for the G5 cast! I know I’m missing out a little bit (like I didn’t even mention Hitch due to not really knowing what I feel about him yet), and there’s definitely some fleshing out that I can do for some of these ideas, but I still wanted to talk about it nonetheless! None of this is canon of course, and these are just my own feelings.
