As an American, i think today i have to speak out against some things.
Patriots are now MAGA, Rednecks are now MAGA, Schools are now MAGA. it seems that we've forgotten that this is supposed to be the land of the free and not a bigoted cesspit of transphobia and racism. I genuinely do not feel safe as a transmasculine person in my town or applying for jobs because of how my country and state treat people like me.
However, I will not give up on us. The United States was made for the people, by the people, and will reform. We always have. Even if it takes 5, 10, or even 50 more years, we will be progressive again.
Remember to vote blue, stay hydrated, and be safe this weekend.
