omg ty im so honored^^ ive answered a similar ask to this before but maybe i can give some more details this time

when it comes to rendering i do a mix of like, blending colors together and then just drawing shapes (usually triangles) as hard shadows/highlights. drawing shapes everywhere is a big part of it lol, and ill either fill it in with a solid color or just draw a bunch of lines inside. basically just have fun w shapes and textures

when ur blending colors together theres a possibility u'll get this ugly muddy color in between if theyre pretty far apart on the color wheel, so ill take the color in the middle and saturate it (for example, if i need to blend pink and green together, ill use yellow in the middle)

u can also play around w blending modes when it comes to finding interesting color combinations. again, a lot of it is just experimenting

ummm good question! i dont rlly have a specific thought process when it comes to picking base colors im always just like "i think this color would look good w this one" or "im in the mood to use pink here" and kinda just wing it, so the only advice i can rlly think of for this is looking at a lot of other color combinations to get an idea of what colors u think look good together i guess ?? and just experiment w it go crazy

but for rendering i tend to use more purples/blues for shadows and then yellows/this rlly light blue-green color i keep using for highlights but again,, a lot of it is just "i think this color would look good here !!" and pulling stuff straight from my brain
