I fucking love notepad

Sure there are more featureful(?) tools out there, but those honestly feel like fancy paper and fancy pens, while plain text file feels more like napkin notes:

Using fancy tools like notion and stuff you have incredibly powerful stuff at your disposal so it feels like you should be writing important stuff to warrant so many bells and whistles

Whereas notepad is just: here, write shit down, like, if you see a .txt file that's shit, you don't give a fuck bc it's just a .txt file and honestly that drop in expected quality is what frees me to actually write notes and get progress done

Anyway, I'm sure fancy tools are great and all, just not for me rn, I am sticking with good ole notepad
