Wild thought his adventures were over. Hint hint, thought. He thought that, because he didn’t clear out all the gloom in his arm before saving Hyrule, he would have a numbered amount of days left. He thought that Mineru’s parting gift of her Sage Stone was worthless. He thought that he was only going to be playing with the residue of Rauru’s power left over in his arm before he expired prematurely from gloom poisoning. He thought he was never going to see his brothers again. For most of that, he was wrong. Apparently, it was comical to Hylia to send him back on the adventure he had been on with his brothers, but with only 30 days left to complete it before his body gave out.

OR: Wild only has thirty days left alive because Rauru’s arm only kept him alive to save Zelda, and to keep cool new powers. Also, he’s the Sage of Sprit now because why not.

Firstly, I wanted to mention the sketches of magazine in Naveen’s room. I was thinking it might be a hint towards Gen 10, like how in Pokemon Legends Arceus, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet was hinted at with the scarlet/violet hair colors and some flowers (I think) on the map, and how PLZA was mentioned in ScarVi in Nemona’s house with the Greninja paintings. Could these be a glimpse at how the people would look? I just thought they were oddly detailed and out of the way, like how the other hints in other games are.

Secondly, I didn’t notice anyone else mentioning that the Kyogre and Groudon dream-realms were reversed versions of themselves. I took that photo in the Kyogre realm, where Groudon’s is in the ceiling. I think it’s cool that they are somewhat dependent on each other like that.

I just feel extremely bad for Lida. She just wants to meet her big brother 😭 She mimics his clothing, profession, and gets excited taking about him, even though he never stopped back home to meet her. I get the half sibling thing and all, and how sometimes that can leave resentment, but DUDE, that’s just cruel.

This is just to show off that Pokemon legends Arceus needs a port for the switch 2, because I’ve never noticed the broken names on the normal switch. Please Nintendo. Please.

I want to talk about my predictions for season 3– specifically Isadora Capri. The routes I’ve seen people take with how her character will end up is very black and white in my eyes, and I’ve wanted to share my own theories.

Firstly, I think that even if two outcasts species reproduce (i.e. a Hyde and werewolf pair), that the child is only one of those. Not sure how that makes sense genetically, but if it doesn’t make sense heretically then let’s just say it’s a magic property. One ability, if any.

We know that Isadora is a werewolf; multiple people have confirmed it, even Tyler, the Hyde. He didn’t make any comments on her being a Hyde, so I’m quite positive she’s not both— just carries the gene.

Anyways, back to her being a werewolf. She told Enid that other werewolves were going to hunt her down if she got stuck in her alpha state. Even though Capri knew Enid, I think there’s still a very real chance she’ll follow her instincts and also hunt Enid down. I also think that she’ll use her Hyde pack to help, too— that is her community, her pack. Maybe she came to Nevermore to get closer to Tyler, to get him to join. We know that she came to Nevermore to teach students because she was “inspired”— personally, the way that she explained why she wanted to join Nevermore was on a whim. If she’s an excellent musician who wants to teach children (who’s famous, by the way), why wouldn’t someone hire her, most of all Dort who is trying to drag in donors.

I think that Capri will be the one that connects Tyler and Wednesday again. If Capri does decide to hunt Enid down, Tyler likely will have mixed feelings about it—yes, he probably doesn’t like Enid, but that’s Wednesday’s best friend. The Wednesday that saved him when she didn’t have to. The Wednesday that may still care for him—maybe even love him.

Wednesday likely will struggle against competitors trying to get to Enid. She’ll likely be reluctant at first, but willing to accept help (or go looking for it because Tyler “owes” her) at some point— hopefully a specific Hyde.

I’ve made Capri seem like a monster through this first part, but I do think that she’ll want to help Tyler. Important figures in her life have all been Hydes, all dying to their outcast side because it’s dangerous. She’ll want to help who she can to have a normal life. I don’t think that she’s telling all the information that she can to Tyler, but then again, she doesn’t have to. He’s an orphan who’s going to die by himself.

While I watched the second half of the season, I found it odd that Weems started to talk about Fran like they were close— particularly about how she knew what Fran was and who she was marrying.

I’m going to take that back to S1. Donovan, obviously, knew that the monster was likely Tyler somewhere along the lines and wanted to blame it on anything else— some form of denial.

Weems would have known about the murders. And she would have known about Tyler’s legacy. She knew about the Hydes, and yet when confronted by Wednesday about them, she didn’t tell her anything about Tyler.

Why would she protect him? Maybe because that’s the son of her “late” friend? Did she have a deal with Fran or Donovan to protect him? Why not let him into Nevermore to figure what he is so that he doesn’t get groomed and manipulated by one of her own staff?? Did both her and Donovan think that ignoring it would be best for him, a creature that is practically equivalent to a slave?

I haven’t seen anyone mention it yet, but chess seems to be symbolic in the S2.

In s1 ep8, Wednesday, in her final message to the audience addresses how Laurel and Tyler may be pawns in a bigger game. That’s a relatively common phrase, and it left a cliffhanger for the next four years. Then, when we get back into S2, Thing has a ring with a knight on it, and he wears it. (Does anyone know where he got it from? I don’t remember). Capri mentions something about chess to Wednesday (I don’t remember what, but I remember that she did because I thought it was weird that chess was being mentioned so much). Then, in S2 ep3, when at the bullpen or the Galpin’s cabin, Thing messes with an abandoned chess board— specifically uses the white Queen? I believe? To take out a black knight.

Now, what to make of this? I want to believe that Thing has something to do with this. Some people have mentioned that he may be from Slurp— which could possibly be true, as no one knows where Thing came from in the show. If anything, he’s just the one showing the audience that there is something happening, because I don’t think he would work against the Addams, and it’s clear that he can communicate with them.

I want to believe that Capri also has a part of whatever is happening. Maybe she’s the queen— taking care of whoever the knight was— maybe Galpin? I also want to bring up (with my limited chess knowledge) that the knight moves in an “L” shape. Maybe it has something to do with Laurel Gates? She did die to Tyler.

I also want to imagine that the black chess set is the Addams, considering their morbidity. I don’t think that this show is following the “light and dark” kind of trope, as it is based on the Addams family. So maybe not Laurel, but perhaps whoever’s tombstone was in the S2 pt2 trailer. Maybe Lurch? He has an “L” name and has been seen in the show. Or maybe Thing? Thing was seen with the knight ring, and he was targeted by Laurel. That would mean that the white queen is Laurel, but she’s no longer in action and I feel like the creators of the show won’t be recounting, but warning. I feel like that the chess being used is a warning. Maybe it won’t be discussed heavily in S2, but we do know that it’s not just the bird lady who is in play or this season would be over by now. Enid is still at risk.

Warning to the Wenclair readers, this may be biased because I’m a Weyler shipper, so you’re getting targeted. I’m very sorry; if you feel the need to add to this post in any way, feel free ^^

Lots of people point out how “aww it’s so cute that Wednesday lets Enid read her book before her mother”, which is true, but at the same time, her relationship with her mother isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. They have issues, and the book that Wednesday wrote is influenced about her and her experiences, like her mother’s relationship. Her old therapist in S1 pointed this out in her first session (I believe?). The next person who would likely comment on her writings (with some feelings of interest— I have a feeling Gomez and Pugsley wouldn’t want to comment on it) would be Enid, her closest friend who wants the best for her.

Wednesday doesn’t like to be blamed. In S1, when Roan claimed that she’d destroy the school, she didn’t stop it for the greater good— no, she didn’t it because she was selfish and didn’t want that to be under her name. Yes, she did throw a bag of piranhas into a pool with teens in it, but she only went to Nevermore because she didn’t finish the job. With Enid’s prophecy, she doesn’t want to be blamed for her death because she doesn’t want that under her name. Don’t get me wrong— Wednesday is the type where friendships are likely very important to her. She didn’t necessarily want to become friends with Enid at first, but Enid considered her as a friend, and when Wednesday realized that, she likely felt like she had to repay her with a two-sided relationship, and those bonds tend to be much stronger, likely because Wednesday doesn’t know how to do friends. I don’t think it can be justified that Wednesday and Enid are lovers just because she wants to save her, either. She doesn’t have many friends; Enid is her best. Any normal person would want to save their bestie.

Summary:

Wild only has thirty days left alive because Rauru’s arm only kept him alive to save Zelda, and to keep cool new powers. Also, he’s the Sage of Sprit now because why not.
