Polybius, aka polybo or poly,

In au the polybius cabinet is placed far away from other cabinets due to strange occurrences happening when people played it,

No one in the game world visited the game BC of these strange occurrences either,

One night, turbo tries to infiltrate Polybius but finds nothing in there worth taking so he leaves

Lil did he know the game was watching him and examining him,

Shortly after leaving. The game uses it's own code to create a physical model based on what it observed

Hence creating polybo

The model acts as poly's physical body, allowing them to explore, discover and research,

They have a visor over their helmet to prevent accidental hypnotism, unless they want to

I was talking with my ma abt the old arcade she used to play at when she mentioned how she was practically addicted to this one game that was rlly popular in the 80s-90s.

says she only stopped playing after a weird glitch or something happened where the main char of the game (and the namesake) appeared in another game glitching it out badly, scary stuff

but regardless I did some digging online and found a gif of the main char's winning animations from one of the games it's pretty cute ig a bit wonky but I can kinda get why my ma found it appealing
