and im going to preface this by saying i am a transmasc person

it pisses me off the amount of "trans leon" fics that are literally just... "i wanna write leon getting pounded but he has a pussy and tits." it serves no purpose. it doesn't do anything in terms of representation. it's just sort of blatant fetishization of trans men. T4T? that's great! trans porn written by trans author? awesome! but i dont get the feeling that that's what most of this is. it just feels like "let's make him trans to make the porn hotter." this does nothing for trans men or transmasc people. it's just fetishization and it's gross.

similar to that, the amount of people who write leon completely out of character is just insane. either they write him as this helpless little innocent baby who is sooo weak and sooo vulnerable.. he can't possibly defend himself against big strong attacker, or they write him as the most flavorless slut known to mankind. or some combination. it's annoying. like, if you wanna write generic porn, just do it. it's generic smut with leon's name slapped in there for engagement value. leon is not a blank slate, he has a personality. fuck man i want him to be making ridiculous one liners while getting plowed not acting like the most generic bottom known to mankind.

my point is that leon is extremely fetishized and mischaractarized. the trans fetishization makes me uncomfortable as a transmasc person, like people won't see me for my identity, just for the fact that i got 2 holes instead of 1. and the other one just irks me as a leon enjoyer. do i find leon attractive? yes. but the thing is, i enjoy ALL aspects of leon, not just his looks, and it's very important to me that he's written correctly.
