Is what youre living for worth Jesus dying for?

Since we always become like whatever we worship, there is nothing greater that God could want for His people than for them to worship Him, for there is nothing greater than Himself. God doesnt long for our worship because He's an egotist in need of our affirmation. Instead He longs for our transformation that takes place in the glory of His presence, the glory that descends in times of extended worship.

God is not ashamed to be identified with the parts of you that you think you need to hide.

"At THIS church, we are not saying 'all lives matter' right now because this is a logical assumption that most reasonable people agree with. All lives are not at risk right now. We ARE saying BLACK LIVES MATTER. Because, right now, black lives apparently are worth LESS on our streets. It's "our fight" not "their fight."

If God was small enough for your mind He wouldn’t be big enough for your need.

One moment of receiving from God out weighs a lifetime of what you try to do without him

Leaders goal: Ignoring an infection never makes it go away. Have the difficult conversation & address underlying issues.

Schools often fail to simultaneously train students how to be skeptical of claims & how to embrace the weight of evidence.

All of us will deal with rejection at some point - rejection is not a dead end, it's a redirection

God says He gets the last word in your story

Legend in the faith said to me recently re: opinions 'Those who matter don’t mind and those that mind don’t matter'

Wherever God shows up, His presence creates heaven in that situation even if it's hell

You were never just meant to be born, live and die. You were sent here for a purpose!

Leaders goal: Be intentional in creating pathways for younger people. No one is ever “ready”.

All addictions are not sins but all sins are addicting.

The presence of God will not always fix your problems, but it will clarify your perspective.

When you do the things you’re gifted to do, you come alive!
