i just discovered this but apparently tumblr has introduced being able to choose between different colors in the app; here’s how to find it (on mobile because that’s what i have right now):

- go to settings (top right of your blog).

- go to general settings.

- click the option called “color palette”.

- pick between the three available options!

the options (pictured below) are:

True Blue (Tried and True default Tumblr blue.), which is the white with dark blue version.

Dark Mode (Turn down the lights.), which is a dark grey version with light text.

and Low-Contrast Classic (A low-contrast color scheme, complete with a familiar blue.), which is a version using the old blue color of tumblr but without white.

How to Clean Converse Sneakers

I LOVE my converse sneakers! When I was in Japan it was crazy just how popular this brand is especially with women and younger girls! But they do get dirty. This is how I clean mine to keep them looking new:

Baking Soda and Vinegar to Remove Stains and Dirt

Before you throw them in the washer, it’s crucial to pretreat your Converse. First, remove the shoelaces and set them aside–you will be tossing these in the washer along with your sneakers later. Also, removing your shoelaces will allow your shoes to be cleaned more thoroughly.

Next, drench your shoes in cold water for using warm or hot water will set in any stains.

Then, make a pretreatment paste out of baking soda and vinegar. To do this, combine even 3 parts baking soda and about 2 parts white vinegar in a bowl.

Dip a toothbrush into the paste and scrub your shoes, giving more attention to the stains.

When you’re done scrubbing, let the mixture sit on your shoes for about half an hour.

Afterward, rinse off the homemade pretreatment paste and throw them in the washer. For more detailed instructions check out our guide to properly machine washing sneakers.
