How I wish we could get this pairing 100% confirmed canon though. Like, this scene practically sealed the deal for me, but it's still always nice when it's like 100% cemented into the canon and reading of the characters, ya know.

Like, how beautiful is that!? I love how, in the end, Akito ends up becoming closest with the "outsiders" of the Sohma family (and the Zodiac Cult). It's a gorgeous way to show the evolution of Tohru and Akito as foils to each other and just the parallel of how things are at the start of Fruits Basket vs how they are here at the end of Fruits Basket Another - all that growth - so precious! <3
