Been seeing a lot of people who are mad about Deltarune Chapter 5's weird route and are mad that Chapter 5 apparently "sidelined" the weird route?
My dude, are we looking at the same Chapter 5 weird route? Look, yes the chapter was short, being like 30 minutes long, but those 30 minutes were so harrowing that it completely makes up for the length. The final scene with Noelle and Kris completely makes up for the fact it was shorter. Also one day Deltarune will be completed and the length won't matter anymore because you'll be able to drive straight into the next chapter.
And also, the final screen??? The "Insert Chapter 7 Side B"???? That HORRIFIES ME, every small detail at this chapter during the weird route did, but like, god, what could have possibly happened for the weird route to completely make us skip Chapter 6? Where are Noelle and Kris going? Is Hometown some sort of simulation or cut off place that forces it's residents to stay within its confines? There are so many little hints this chapter gave us, in the regular route and weird route and I can't wait for the next couple of chapters.
